I met Petri a few days ago in a local bar. He is such a gentleman and a great musician!

from afar almost compares to jari's era of ensiferum, sad he had to replace one of the best finish musician ever, Petri has done the best job anyonce couldve done! \m/

Sorry, i know i'm late to comment this video.. I want to say that you are very fortunate to meet Petri, and have a chance to interview Petri.. Damn i have listened Petri playing in Norther and in Ensiferum. Gotta say he fit´s very fucking well in Ensiferum, i listen both of those bands + seen Ensiferum live in Tampere Finland were i have been born and lived all my life. Horns and beer pints up for Ensiferum and Petri

It's good to hear that they're not partying and drinking every chance that they get on tour....Bands should do what Iron Maiden, and now, Ensiferum does and enjoy the places that they get to go to... It won't last forever

Yes there´s great gigs at the indoors place cold Tullintorin pakkahuone. Tullintorin pakkahuone is in Tullintori, Tullintori is one of the old market places in Tampere city.

You've got some great festivals over there. Hope I'll be able to visit Tampere in the future. I've been to Helsinki so far and loved it, so I can't wait to go back to Finland. :)

I love Wintersun and Jari, but to be honest I prefer the material with Petri as vocalist when it comes to Ensiferum. Victory Songs is fucking amazing.

@mare97brate Ensiferum exists since 1995, but Petri joined it later in the year 2004 (officially), and Norther was formed in 2000... :)

I remember once when i saw Petri, at KarmøyGeddon(A festival in Haugesund, Norway) I almost freaked out. Later i saw him live. I almost died :D

@The7DeadlyStrings yeah, and then they get a new singer who, though good, will never make norther as great as pete did. the new single 'break myself away' was good, but so different than what i had come to associate with norther, that i was shocked. it wasnt bad, but its deffinately going to get a new crowd, instead of those that have stuck with norther throughout the years...

Because I was supposed to have an interview with Sami and had all of the questions prepared for him; and when I came to the backstage, Skid (tour manager) told me: "Ok, you have an interview with Petri, Sami is busy at the moment". First I was going out of my mind because I hadn't prepared any questions for Petri, but then I realized that I love this band, so I'll just ask anything I wanna know, and he was very relaxed so the atmosphere was great.

That was a nice interview, and he seems like a nice person :P Will always love his music. Kinda sad about Norther though :/ ah well least he still kicks ass in Ensiferum.

is it me or did his hair get a little darker over the years? back when he was in norther his hair was almost white (and it looked awesome)

Although I respect and love Petri in Ensiferum I relly enjoyed him much more in Norther :[ but he is still great :D

@kitchumiao Hi! Hehehehe.... Hm... He looks pretty much the same as he does in the videos, apart from being very tall. :D As for the smell, I truly don't remember... This was shot about a year ago, but considering that it was a hot day, don't think that he smelled good. He was very sweaty (as you can see). The thing that was most interesting for me was how charming he was. I really enjoyed talking to him. :)
