The world has listened & watched and will ever listen to music and Bands but such a Band has neither been composed nor it shall be composed in the future. These kids have made a history. They gave an identity to Afghan. These kids proved that they are superior in every field. The geographical and social complexity had put a bar upon them to achieve the goal of real life otherwise they were not lagging behind the rest of the world. This is a challenge to the vigilant world to compose such an emotional and inspirational Band. Majority of the world people consider the Afghan as inhumane and barbarous Nation but exemption exist. Even in the social community of Europe such untoward happenings occur. This Band not only reflect the capabilities of Afghan Nation but also their sacred and social behaviors which leave the social world far behind. All the foreign germinated evils have been eradicated from Afghanistan & in this decade we wish to see Afghanistan at par with developed nations.

I’m an Afghan who grew up in 25 different nations and learned over 20 different cultures and languages. Was born only in 1983 and left Kabul in 1987, and then traveling begging for better life and I’ve learned many good things from all these different cultures and peoples . Music or art doesn’t have any borders , it comes as a gift to us human beings and we must respect and appreciate the art coming from any other human beings. Life is short and let’s live in happiness and accept each other with our differences. Only humanity is the winner at the end and I’ve just spoken my opinions and honest experience what I’ve learned in my life . Thank you

So many comments about the clapping public ...which means those with the comments do not understand anything about culture, neither about this kind of concerts. A music performance is a dialogue between the musicians and the public. When the musicians want a silent public they chose the kind of music that makes people silent, But this program, the chosen music, is special chosen so people will enjoy and start to clap together with the musicians. It is incredible popular music, there's nothing wrong with it but when you start to complain about the public reacting in a popular way, then you do not understand anything of music. I would never go to this kind of concerts, I love serious music ..yes and also Afghan music, I've been at a lot of concerts of all kind of music, whether it was in Taiwan or in Iraq or Europe.... it is everywhere the same. As soon as the musicians start to speed up the music as an invitation to the public to react.... then the public have to react. So all those complainers about the music: I'm sorry but you do not understand music, you're very hypocrite, just want to show that you are real music lovers who would be silent...but you only prove that you have no feeling for music. Once more: I do not go to this kind of concerts, I find the quality of the young players not very good... I worked with much better groups, even young musicians. I do not say they are bad....and for this kind of concerts it is ok... When Pavarotti is singing in an opera, nobody will clap the whole time, they organise special concerts where you can clap every 5 minutes. This is the same, at a real concert the musical parts would take one or two hours... here it stops after a short time so the public can clap. But I'm afraid those complainers never go to concerts.

Prosperity, success and taking full advantage of human talent, ability, and usefullness depends on True peace where one lives but the best part of human nature and specially many of us Afghans is that many of us have kept going and have not and will not give up on making ourselves and at least our lives better. I hope that all these talents' lives will not be wasted and I hope we advance in all the different areas of life. Thank you for posting it and thanks to the parents of these kids who allowed them and supported them and to the institute who provided them with a chance!!!

This is absolutely extraordinary... they should have told the audience NOT to clap during the performance. Some NADEDA (lacking the experience and understanding) among the audience start clapping and they just show no respect to the orchestra... If you don't have notes infront of you it means stay silent until the music is over.

There is no doubt its a great performance, BUT OMG the audience is so annoying. They don't no how to behave in a performance like this, or in other words, audience etiquette. You could hardly hear the instruments being played. They clap, whistle, and shout whenever they want to. I wish there was a way to educate them before to let them know it is no appropriate. Love you my Afghans but sometimes it is just so annoying...you know what I mean...

Wenn man bei nem Konzert einer Rockband ist, kann man natürlich auch laut sein aber hier geht das nicht. Just wanted to say that I agree with you, LOVE2824GOD, the spectators shouldn't be so loud (I'm also German so I wrote in German to muhammad khan because it's easier for me)
