Great video. I have IQ 7 and batteries system. Enphase is a outstanding product.

I currently have Tesla solar panels 19 kw and power walls ( x4 in 1 array, x2 in another array) I want to add another 10 kw using IQ8 to charge the power wall faster. Will this be possible without interference with Tesla system due to warrant issued.

Hi, no it will not be possible. The two systems don’t really talk to each other and it would void any type of warranty you already have

There needs to be a way to form a grid without the $3000 system controller 2.

Is an initial grid connection required to initialize a new IQ8 system? Can they be used in an off grid situation? Thanks

I have a IQ7+ system and plan to expand, can I use IQ8+ (1.5 times the existing IQ7+) and have the microgrid forming ability?

No, as of right now the IQ8 operates on it's own separate platform

Unfortunately no, the federal ITC only covers green energy upgrades
