I’ve lost so much in my life. This really touched home. Most beautiful song I have ever heard. I just remarried at 65 to the man who is in this video. 2 years now and this song is dedicated to us, to our lives. He’s a note giver, and it makes me feel so loved. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Men! Your emotions are nothing to be ashamed of. I'm almost 88 YO but can still cry when overcome. I will still break down at unexpected times if something blindsides me about my wife. Lost her in January this year. Cared for her for 3 years after her stroke.

Lost my wife to cancer 11 years ago. The most painful thing ever. She filed for divorce and 5 months later died. We never divorced and will never know why or understand why she did that. It's taken years for me and my children to try and heal. My children still hurt and are slowly getting better. Family is what is most important so don't ever lose sight of that. Truly live each day with meaning and compassion because life is short. God has blessed me with someone to share the rest of my life with and I am humbled. God always has our hand as we walk in life, we just need to believe.

I'm so sorry your family had to suffer thru all of that. Maybe she know she was sick and was trying to distance her self from you because she couldn't handle having you watch her go through that ordeal. She might have thought she had more time . I know one day you will find your answer. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. Heavenly father has a plan for all of us and he eases the pain we endure to help us. My mom and sister both started doing the same thing before they passed away. I think it's like a sick animal that slinks away to die alone...they don't want others to see them in pain, see them die. Please, don't feel it was you...it was her, trying to protect you and your family in the only way she knew. I'm sorry for your loss. Blessings!

Made it through cancer... but loosing mine now. Always knew it would happen because of his health problems; but sweet Lord it still hurts! I didnt get enough time with him... no where enough time.

My Grandfather adored my Grandmother. They were married for 64 years, and knew each other for 66 years. Watching her slowly succumb to dementia over a decade was gut-wrenching. I dont know how he made it through her funeral, but he went on to age 92. They were amazing people, and taught everyone they knew what true love is. This endearingvideo, and superb song, reminds me of them.

One of my faves!! Sooooo beautiful!!! I’m singing it (very poorly) for my little grand angels before I go home so they can remember how much their GiGi loves them!! I just can’t make it sound pretty enough!! GENTRI has been a massive blessing to me and gets me through each day! I’m forever grateful for them and sharing their pitch perfect songs! And one of the members is from Northern Ireland where my ancestors haled so big big brownie points there! Ha ha. Even better his brother is the drummer for my favorite band, Snow Patrol. I’ve called Gary my Norn Iron brother long before DNA kits! It pinned Antrim Ballymena the land of my biological ancestors! Of course you have to live them! Irish craic…

What a beautiful message. My mom is fighting a rare form of cancer called GIST and has been given weeks to a year to live. She’s fighting it but I can see how much pain she’s in. She’s the strongest woman I know and it’s true that forever is not long enough. I know that when God calls her home, I’ll see her again one day, it’s just hard not to be selfish and want her with me until it’s my time. God bless every one out there who is fighting this ugly disease or knows or has lost someone they love to it.

My father died a 77. My Mother lived on to 93. She left me a box of letter between her and my father during WW2.I set it aside, not thinking much about it. Until now. I will forever cherish their love and hope mine will be a fruitful.

Every time, I watch your guys music videos, they always make me cry; and feel the spirit as well.

I lost my best friend, my mother to lung cancer a year ago, it’s the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life....then in February 2020 just a few short months ago I lost my younger sister to breast cancer, then in April 2020 I lost my step father to Dementia....and I’m fighting breast cancer for the second time in 12 years and I’m all alone in this world besides my brother and the closeness we once had is broken...my heart & soul is shattered beyond recognition...I do have GOD, he hasn’t denied me, he’s here always....Thank you GENTRI for your wonderful songs, God Bless You🙏🏻♥️

I know I am so late but I recently discovered you guys and I feel like I had to share this: My mom was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer stage 3 about 2 years ago and the doctors all said she might not make it but my dad and I, although we felt it was true inside we all, tried to pretend that she was going to be fine for the sake of my two little sisters. It was especially hard on me since I am the oldest and although at the time I was only 14 years old I had to step up and become the "mom" to my two youngest sisters while still try to continue with my schooling. After about a year and a half of going through chemotherapy and everything, she is now cancer-free but it did leave a huge scar inside of me. Although, I didn't say a word to anyone I had kept all that inside my heart for a long time and I even stopped believing in God, stopped reading my Bible and even stopped praying to Him. But, recently I have been receiving help from my church and although it is slow progress I am starting to maybe change my mind that maybe God does listen to my prayers. After seeing and hearing this video it really brought back so many memories about those times and I really want to thank you GENTRI for doing a video that really hits home for so many of us. Bless you! How hard that must have been! Quite the burden for a young lady. God is real. He hears every prayer. Sometimes He does not take away our trials so that we can grow. So that we will be able to help others later in our lives. Hang in there!

Such a touching song. I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in May 2019, it is hard to watch someone you love go through it.

I lost my lifemate in January, this year and have missed her so much and cant wait to be with her again. I have taken the theme of this song and am having a plaque to put in front of our headstone, all ready in place. I it will read Forever, is not enough, Wayne & Lilah, Sept 2,1960--Eternity.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May your heart find moments of soothing and comfort in your grief until you are reunited with your Lilah.

We often take our relationships for granted, caught up in the daily hustle and bustle of life. But when we have a moment to reflect, it becomes evident whet really matters. I cannot imagine how I would go on if I lost my wife. She is more than my mate, she is part of me and I suspect that part would die along with her!!!

They sing songs like the way we should live our lives. Perfection!

This is so beautiful! The story itself is not wholly unexpected but what is truly beautiful is the love that the actors portrayed: not just through the letters (the value of which we should never overlook) but through their interactions and even the way they just looked at each other. If you told me they were happily married in real life, both the older and younger versions, I would totally believe it. Together with the song and Gentri's voices, this was a powerful love story.

The messages of your songs move me. Keep it going, brothers. Peace! Amen.

All your music and lyrics are incredible. This one is close to my heart. Mirrors my life. My love at 14 years old and my wife until she took her last breath 42 years later. A life of love notes, dancing and adventures.

I have only recently “discovered” Gentri , what beautiful voices & the words to their music is so meaningful; they have another fan!! Will definitely share with all my friends around the world. This particular song”Enough” I can relate to & am tearing up. Keep on singing please.

In December it will be two years since I lost my grandmother to cancer. It was the toughest thing I have ever gone through. I think the worst part was watching my grandfather slowly loose the love of his life. This song reminds me of their love. From beginning to the tragic end. Thank you for this song, it allows me a little bit of comfort.

But don't you see? It isn't a tragic end, it's a loving end. Life is full of suffering, but it takes us, responding to God's life within us, to bring out the love. This couple were never without love, even after God calls the wife home. Even then, they have the letters of their love, the knowing that even when they were going through their daily trials, they were thinking of and loving the other. That's what God does for us--he's sending us love notes all the time, and we barely find a handful of them. This couple found them...so it isn't a tragic end. Feel the comfort they had in their love that lasted beyond the end. I'll pray for your healing of the pain, some comfort as you mourn. All who belong to God, and God is sending you love notes--find them, and be healed, but never forget your grandparents' love story. Bless you Nathan Burkholder. love, Jean

I’ve watched this video several times and it makes me cry each time! What a wonderful song and marvelous video! While it feels like we are “never enough”, we are enough if we have done our level best. Then we can turn it over to God to make up for the difference. But yes, eternity will not be long enough for those we love. I just want to be grateful every minute for arms that reach out in a hug and kindness from loved ones. And I just want to do my all to be kind and loving to family, friends, and neighbors. Then it is enough.

I want this sung at my celebration of life. I lost my wife 3 years ago to aftereffects of a stroke. I discovered this song shortly after she died. I cant hear it without having a complete bawling breakdown. 😆.

This video is by far the greatest of the GENTRI videos. I’ve watched it numerous times over the space of many months, had this song sung at my father’s funeral service and the video still touches me deeply and brings me to tears. The love between a husband and wife is so sacred, and this video displays that extremely well. As I find myself celebrating 25 years with my wife, I pray for God’s blessings of many years together to come. BRAVO GENTRI! This one is spectacular!!

I love how you wrote that the "love between a husband and wife is so sacred." This is so very, very true. Sadly, the sacred part has been lost somewhere in time over the last several decades. If only people would treat this special bond and love this way, there would no longer be child abuse, human trafficking, or spouses cheating on each other. What a wonderful world it would be! I can't wait until the world is made whole again by our Savior. 🙂

Absolutely Brautifully Done. THANKS!! This is not only about a relationship and living a beautiful life on heaven and Earth, But also about family and boys that get strength from their dads and daughters... And it shows how quick life is and how to let true love in And then if we hurtle all for all our problems and make them unimportant we really do live heaven on Earth and are spiritually blessed! Yes and this made me cry too!! But I'm not afraid to cry because after I do I feel 10 times better it's a shame we are taught not to Feel the most important emotion we have. And then use destructive ways to cope with that sensitive emotion.
