As I was listening to him, I truly thought he was speaking for the Palestinian cause. I would have believed him if he both condemned Hamas and Israel. “These keyboard warriors… they don’t know Palestine.” This is kind of what I think when I hear some of the protests and such over here. The situation is so complicated, with so much history, and so much pain on both sides. I feel I have no place or anywhere near enough knowledge to say what either side should do, and when other people that know only as much as myself start their “keyboard warrior” campaign, it just seems like they are speaking about a situation they can’t even begin to comprehend.

Thank you Piers. This is the truth from one who knows the situation better than anyone else.

I dont think there really is a hypocrisy with alot of Pro-Palestinian supporters, some for sure but for many I think its clear where their heart lies. Hamas is an entity that beings about great ruin and misfortune, and what they’ve done is truly despicable and evil. The same can be said however of the Israeli government, and their abuse of power and oppression of the Palestinians. Supporting the right to self determination and not being treated as subhuman is not the same as supporting Hamas. Whats truly a shame is that it takes an evil act of one group for the Palestinians plight for freedom to be heard around the world once again.
