I love playing the map, a good defense team can made it hard to take any position. Those multi leveled building are a nightmare to attack because of the layered defenses and incendiary grenade launchers people line the roof with.

Most of the time its my team getting over run on defence by the enemy taking the upper floors unless I'm guarding them

Whilst the movement is a bit weird, the atmosphere already exceeds that of BF5

I disagree, the atmosphere actually felt kind of lacking, where is the thick columns of black smoke rising and filling the air from burning buildings and vehicles in every direction?, where is the AAA fire and tracers arcing up into the sky? The nice sunny blue sky with fluffy white clouds makes it feel very UN-stalingrad.

@@winstonsmith8482 that’s a fair point, but I think the atmosphere in bf5 is virtually non-existent, whereas in this game, you can at least feel that you’re fighting in a war (probably attributed to the map design)

@@leviticuscornwall9631 I own bf1 but not bf5. To me, bf1 feels more “weighty”, not just the atmosphere, but also solder’s movement as well. I really dislike the fact that soldiers in bf5&2042 feel sprinting all day long across the battlefield, which is just nonsensical considering you are carrying heavy weaponry.

It’s prob a custom battle cause I don’t usually see this much team like the bombers going in formation and how can he use like more 10 squads I thought the most was 4 for non premium and 6 or 7 for premium

This is my one complaint with this game. They spend so much time getting the city right but the atmosphere is just...off. Same thing with DDay. Historically we landed at dawn in overcast skies and ingame we're fighting at noon sunshine.

​@@user-vx8di3ct3d Maybe try reading a book on the subject genius, practically every eye witness talked about the thick smoke in the air, that tends to happen when an ENTIRE CITY IS DESTROYED AND BURNING. Also, It's a game genius, it's supposed to be as dramatic and atmospheric as possible, sure maybe there were a couple days of blue skies during the battle, but that was the exception not the rule.

True. Most of the urban warfare during the second world war, even till now, most of the time you could barely see the enemy due to the thick dust and smoke. In this game, the atmosphere is just off.

This game have a great future. This is a real what players need. Only 1 thing is no good, its a gring, and the same weapon for each company

Why almost nobody puts marks? I mark even targets I'm likely to destroy next moment or large enemy groups.

The early days of Stalingrad were really fun for whoever found and used the machine guns now everyone gets instant headshot by a player sniper, I was re enacting WW2 footage I seen at Stalingrad and they were using maxim as well in it, it was awesome, German were running in red square like rats and crawling on the ground trying dodge my bullets and the bots can't instant headshot you since of the metal plate so it's double good.

@@robinsu407 true. tbh I normally keep some 100 meters away on some building, but my intention is to give support to the main assault troops which should be the majority of the team, but sometimes everybody just get the same idea to stay behind

@@mrsteffen4692 the animations distribute frames equally, instead of adding more frames when a movement is slowing down, and less when speeding up, so it looks weird for that reason.
