Right? On Brazilian Portuguese his verse basically translates to "Abysmal being, lives in the basement; if he's called, (you) will see a blackout; when (you) go to sleep, (he) will consume you" (the parantesis is for the stuff that's implied through verb tensing). Like, it literally takes it from him being a super tall ratman that reads minds and terrorises people to an abismal boogeyman that lives in the basement and will eat you when you go to sleep. (well the wording is straight up consume you, what type of consumption Idk).

How great it turned out in this song with the Russian dubbing. What am I talking about? I'm talking about what's sung in all the dubs: "don't mention Bruno-no-no". And in the Russian dub also "no". But in Russian language "but" denotes contradiction. That is, in all dubs it is sung: "do not mention Bruno, no no no no but. And in Russian:" don't mention Bruno but but. I think it's cool.

Русская версия как по мне не очень получилась. Испанская, французская и японская точно выигрывают даже английскую за счёт более подходящего голоса для персонажа, а в японской как-то то ли сама особенность произношение добавило таинственности (как прикольно актёр японский тянет последние звуки, а не просто обрывает их), то ли просто так кажется. Остальные в том числе русская так себе вместе с оригиналом, не то, чтобы плохие, но просто сделано и сделано - слушать можно, но ничем не цепляют

If you guys liked the Russian dub, it's also a really clever translation. "Two metres tall, with rats upon his back, He'll call for you, and disappear into the dark, He's like a midnight howl, your nightmare of night, Don't mention Bruno-no-no-no" Bruno's name's last syllable is also coincidentally the word for "but" in Russian, which makes for a great play on words, since they're telling her not to mention Bruno, while contradicting themselves between each verse by continuing to talk about him.

As a person who the mother language is french, I was disapointed by the french dub. Many thing could have been translate perfectly (for the song I can understand) however the rest of the dialogue was terrible. That's why I just watch it in english and so many other movies because the disney movie are so bad translate for many now. As much the canadian french (mine) and France french.
