I’m one of those Muslims who was almost scared out of Islam after my shahada. Although I’ve now been a Muslim almost 19 years the first year was horrible with the criticism and shaming from other Muslims. Even now I still have people who try to educate me on Islam who have no business doing so.

I thought things like this only happened in my country, Indonesia. People say I shouldn't do this, I should do that. It's easy for people to say this is halal or haram for things they don't really understand. I, who wanted to learn, became confused and ended up not studying at all for a long time. Until finally I found a video of Sheikh Bilal's lecture which was very refreshing and made me want to study Islam again from the beginning. Thank you Sheikh😊

اسلام علوكم from San Diego I have been on ummrah with mufti Menk he's is a blessed individual. I see the interconnectedness from many of the pillars of this ummah in this generation from all over the world which I did not see when I was younger. I was isolated in a way understanding the different groups made that way by other isolated people. I believe was a cause from 9/11 but I'm 30 years old now and wallabies the connection is real to the one who sees it almost as if its a top down effect. Like the mufti Menk says healing heart. I see certain foot steps that are being followed from those in the past based off what I know of the stories of the prophets. Allah bless this work

Don't you just love it, when Muslims ask you why you pray only a portion of your full Salah. When they themselves fail to even do 1 sajdah per day. May Allah guide all that choose to believe be firm upon the Deen

Masha’allah, This reminds me of a sister ‘Hazera’ on tik tok who i can see is trying very hard to practice and share good things to the community in a friendly and humorous way, for example wearing abaya, doing salah, going umrah, healthy islamic things, the other day i saw she made a video about not celebrating valentines day in a way it can target the younger youth, but everyones just judging her all the time, she is doing so well, and helping the younger community to come closer to islam in a unique way, she knows alot look up to her and follow her trends so she’s using that in a good way, but sadly the comments are really disturbing and can put someone off i’ve seen alot of people leave islam for because of these sorts of people under comments section, its really sad because these so called muslims only like to target practicing muslims as if they expect them to be either perfect or just leave islam as a whole. Thank you for sharing this and raising awareness on such important causes in oyr community.

I advocate a political ideology that most people are indoctrinated to despise, but in spite of that I have no enemies at work or in my free time because I act like a moral person. I was lucky enough to be employed at a firm with very many Muslims and their behavior has absolutely influenced my views on Islam. Your actions are more important than your words.

Surely mankind is ungrateful to their Lord… “If We give people a taste of Our mercy then take it away from them, they become utterly desperate and ungrateful. But if We give them a taste of prosperity after being touched with adversity, they say: “My ills are gone” and become totally prideful and boastful.” (Quran 11:9-10) 🤍

What is happening in Gaza, and all over the world to the Muslims is because we are not willing to even hear what Allah wants from us, but we are thinking that heaven is made for us.
