Like I can understand the pain when you are not allowed to talk to other trainees cause I too had to go to a similar place for studies it was like a academy . And there you could barely talk. Uugghh such a nightmare it was . I left that place tho later on I couldn't stay there. And I don't regret at all .

They’re supposed to “get to know each other” in I-land, so in the training building they’re not allowed to talk to each other, that’s why on the show they look like complete strangers.

i cant understand.. why do they not allowed to talk anything with other trainees? reason?

It was only for the show, normally the trainees should of course be allowed to talk to each other. But as they were going to be in i-land they shouldn't know each other well to show them getting to know each other in these 3 months of filming the show :)

@@Havini. Damn these people...what logic...but I guess it's fine....but I'm sure jay, sunghoon and heesung would have talked a lot during the trainee days in bighit. That's why they knew each other.

@@mylifeishamburger. The most logical thing for Bighit to do at that time probably was to put some already long trained boys and some new boys who just auditioned into the show. So Heeseung and Jay and if I remember it right Sunghoon trained together before they were confirmed to participate in the show, so of course they already knew each other.

Because Sunoo talkactive maybe he just boring not talking with trainee.
