It's great because we get to hear it! Plus Jay is definitely using his English more. Having Jake to talk to must help a lot. Plus they've been here in America on tour! It would have been amazing if they had gone to Seattle since Jay was born there.

i just really wanna commend and praise jay for his English cause even though he was born in the States, he's left for Korea at a young age itself and most likely, got out of the habit of talking in English. He mentioned in another interview how he's sometimes nervous to speak in English cause he doesn't get to practice a lot. But all i have to say is, jay you are still so incredibly good at English and be confident in yourself cause you honestly are amazing. I mean, it's hard enough being fluent in 2 languages but you are fluent in 3 and that's truthfully so praiseworthy. Keep being the wonderful you, my jay💕

I agree. It's wonderful that they give him that freedom to act like a teenager but they are also always willing to teach him when he has questions or doesn't know something. Living without any parental guidance and not being able to go to school since he was 13 years old must have affected his social development and general knowledge but the other members have been helping supplement those gaps and I have also seen the hyung line advise him when something isn't right or it would be better to do things another way. Luckily Ni-ki's parents did an amazing job raising him for the first 13 years of his life and he's just naturally a really kind hearted soul even when he was a little kid so so far it doesn't look like it has negatively affected him that much. Although I still wish they would have let him attend high school in Korea like he wanted...

Ni-ki is definitely the maknae on top. He's just so talented at everything. I would love it if he would start a fashion line. I love his style and would definitely buy his pieces. Also got to say the James Bond exchange between Jay and Sunghoon was so funny. I really have to applaud Sunghoon. He doesn't let the fact that he's not good at a language stop him from speaking. I noticed that for Japanese and English, he just goes for it even though he may make mistakes or have difficulties getting his thoughts across. It's really admirable.

6:47 the way most of them picked jay here and I also was thinking of him for this question, like he's always been someone so curious by nature and always willing to learn new things. Like the way he learnt japanese mostly by himself through lots of listening time and by watching anime and challenged himself to try to learn french by himself. It's also so interesting to hear about his outlook of life and the way he describes his experience or captures them by the pictures he takes. Ngl, I would totally buy the book if he ever released one as a book-lover myself.
