Engwe EP2-Pro Distance Ride (no Pedal) Let's Ride

Ойын-сауық

This Ride is a non peddling ride to see just how far this 13amp battery will take is. as batteries het bigger then ebikes typically go farther. This e-bike battery is bigger that the 9-11 amp battery that comes on some of its competitors so we should get a few more miles. The motor however is larger so that may negate some of those extra miles. I prefore the extra power. Engwe and I have struck a deal to collaborate on some e-bikes. I appreciate them and the ability to share what Engwe has to offer. Engwe has been in business a long time as far as e-bikes go... 9 Years! Their name and reputation is very good and their e-bikes are from bottom to top are innovative and of excellent quality.
I use to be a RV channel, Until I found e-bikes. That changed my life. I love everything about e-bikes and vlogging e-bike content. E-bike education and how to fix or repair e-bikes and of course riding them. My goal is to make videos educational, fun, motivational and entertaining. I make video content for my own enjoyment, as a hobby. Remember I am an amateur not a professional so please excuse some less than perfect editing. My videos now have a primary focus on e-bikes, because there is so much great content with reviews, accessories, riding and vlogging about those rides.

Good video! I wish I knew about these kind of results before I bought this bike as a lot of people including me thought you could go for hours just on the throttle only, i use mine for work and manage to get about 22+ miles out of one charge peddling on assist mode 3 mainly 👍

Yeah". Nice bike,, the only problem is they only do small ah batteries for the engwe ep2 pro upgraded,, its a real shame they didn't make it to accommodate a 17.5ah or 21ah that would be great great video though " I think more tests should be done (throttle only) 👍

I bought 2 of them 2 years ago...the worst part I hate about this bike is the handlebars! They are way to small. But great bikes over all. I love the speed it makes it convenient the older you get

Well I get the idea I guess for the ride but you could have pedaled as well and got a lot more miles without too much work. And my thought is it would be a nice workout. Its a bike people so if you want to drive around on electric buy a car. This you should be pedaling on when you can. You really had no big hills. I would say this bike isn’t for just riding around in and if that’s what you want buy another battery to take with you or pony up more money for a stronger bike. You have a nice house. I would think that’s what you should do. But looks like it did a decent job.

Well Harry you missed the point entirely. I have 40+ ebikes/trikes/scooters. This ride as many rides I do are for the potential buyer. of the bike I review. Manufacturers usually give a maximum distance and I think its important to give a minimum distance. I ride almost everyday as long as weather permits(No Rain or Snow). I would think I pedal enough for the both of us. My question to you is how do you know someone maybe has knee damage or other physical ailment that restricts exhaustive exercise, and wants to feel the freedom of getting out and enjoying the ride? I get these bikes for my review and distance rides by the way for free in exchange for the review. You write like you are a regular bike rider that hates people having a helping hand with an e-bike or just might want to have fun(Joyride). Now that youl ook down your long nose I will tell you. I do have a electric car as well as a diesel truck and 2 other cars. Yes my house is nice and yes I am blessed. I did not get what I have by not working hard for it. I do not expect a reply but you are welcome to say OOPs my bad I understand now why not everyone can or might not be able to pedal. Knees/ankle/Lung/heart/arthritis or many other reasons.

@@RVEnthusiast I am not knocking you. I am just stating this is a bicycle, not a means of using it just as a battery operated vehicle. I can’t see that this would be for that at all as you proved that it didn’t go as far as you would have wanted. These are pedal bikes not electric wheelchairs. Sorry if I came off offending you that was not my intention. Without riding this bike it’s not powered enough to do that job, but again it’s not made to. I work hard as well and I don’t really want for anything. I’m just saying again this bike just isn’t for that. I think it’s getting a bum rap a bit as it’s potential wasn’t touched. Maybe I feel you’re reviewing it for the wrong reason I guess.

@@Harry-fe9ec I guess I see e-bikes as a mode for people to use them the way they want to not the way you think they should be used. Why progress to a e-bike if just a bike will do? These are micro-mobility devices today not just a bike to use for exercise People use them for many reasons and in many cases they want to know how far will I get minimally for whay ever reason. Going home from work comes to mind..maybe they want to coast to work and ride home so they are not sweating..who knows. Don't look ar 1 aspect of a ride and think thats all I am showing someone. Most of these ebikes are a blessing for someone who may have not gotten out of their house for years and now does and it all started by not pedaling and were encouragedd buu a video just like this one.

@@RVEnthusiast correct but it is a bike. My mother is in a home and can’t get around and there is a much younger guy there who can’t walk good. He has a motorized scooter. Its perfect. I would put someone on this before I put someone who is so bad they havent left their house on a bike that goes over 25 miles an hour. This in my opinion is dangerous for someone not peddling and using this for really what it is not intended for. Riding a bike while peddling but giving you a leg up so to speak on hills and such is the idea here. If you can’t peddle this bike you should be on some other kind of means of safe battery travel. Sorry. We’re not going to agree here.

@@Harry-fe9ec Don't need to agree for sure. I don't believe you have to pedal every second you are on a e-bike. If that is true then there would never be a throttle. Hey Harry I do appreciate your comments and Thank You for your contribution. ;-) Bruce
