    Very good review and I hope you get better soon. I think with the hills around here in Cornwall you would need a minimum of 500 watt unless you went the mid drive route of the bigger brands. Some of the more seasoned mtb riders curse some of the hills here.

But I am so excited I just ordered 26E, thanks for all your helpful info! I need the high bars, to HELP keep my weight off my arms and elbows as much as possible. Thanks, Kate

    Im about 5'7 im gonna do a video of me sitting on it. 5'7 is more average height than 5'9. I think its a great bike. Didnt take much to sell me it. I wish they had a 1000 watt motor with peak of 1500 for maybe $200 more. I trust their quality more than most ebikes i saw online. The two brands i like and trust most. Emgwe and lectric. Wallkee is another good brand. You have yo know and do research though. Take at least a week....if you dont you didnt do your job as a buyer. Never rush into anything....i thought i wanted about 7 diff bikes lol. 1 thing that really sold me was rhe bumble bee yellow paint. I want to put bumble stickers or decals on it. I hope they have them out there....big transformers fan...love movies 1-3.

    What is bad on my engue pro pedal assist is not so much pedal assist lag, but the much more dangerous pedal assist run on. Motor keeps providing power a couple of seconds after you stop pedaling. So you can find yourself accelerating into a corner when you don't stop pedaling well before the turn.

  • @MrCentralDriver

    Had that issue on a few bikes but instead of the pedals it was the throttle. Happens on the popular revv1 bike. C3strom as well. I think I remember that on my Engwe as well.

    I was searching 250w e bikes and found this on ENGWE website. Then i searched for cheaper versions from internet and found one apparently the same model on amazon but it said in description that that spesific one was 1000w.. i got confused and started to search more and found even 750w bike and same model so im really confused now. Im moving to UK and over there bike max capacity is legally without special licence 250w so i wanna be sure that if I buy that bike from website that claims it to be 250w I wouldnt get a 750 or 1000w one. Any ideas what should i believe? Or are there different versions of that same bike?

  • @leecooper8589

    @leecooper8589

    I'm not 100% sure if this is correct but I'm in the UK and was just as confused as you are but this is what I think is going on; The motor is a 750w across all markets which will peak at about 1000w. What they seem to have done for the UK/EU version is limit the motor to 250w. I think the main concern would be the throttle. It's widely believed that throttles are illegal in the UK. They aren't as long as they don't propel the bike more than 3.7 mph (which is just plain silly). Oh and to confuse matters even more. There is a consultation currently going on as to whether to relax/change the regulations in the UK. Thoughts are they may increase the motor power to 500w,assisted speed up to 20mph and allow throttle use up to that limit but nothing is confirmed so who is going to buy a strictly legal, real 250w bike in the UK at the moment when they think it will change very soon?

    I got it from Amazon, and that's what I'm using in the UK 250w. You will see in the manual that the UK is 250w and for the USA is 750w so it has been configured to use in the UK for make sure is written 250 for UK and 750 for USA

    I understand your confusion because that’s the first legal bike you’ve ever ridden. Forgot sake you’re not even familiar with the three classifications of legal E bikes? Class one and class two offer PAS and throttle in the motor supposed to cut out a 20 miles an hour you can change that to a class three but you’ll only get to 28 on pedal assist only and you can’t go on class one and class for Bike Lanes…which is the one you’re riding on. Freaking hilarious.

    Transportation is one of the top limiting factors for poor people trying to access opportunity. It severely cuts into the available time everyone else takes for granted and then turn around and despise the hard-working poor. Poor are also frequently trapped in "food deserts" where they can only find unhealthy food nearby or the healthy food is much more expensive Poor households often don't have time saving access to in-home appliances such a dishwashers, laundry washers & dryers. The appliances they tend to have are less efficient and/or less effective Well off people tend to believe they have these things because they're just better harder-working people which is almost never true.
