Yesung got over the lack of confidence in the past. That's part of growing and developing his personality. Now if you see Yesung has self confidence and he knows what he wants. That's why nowadays Yesung gain more fans around the world! I'm proud of him!

I miss YESUNG!!! He does seem to lack confidence sometimes but I still like him best and I think that he has improved. Hopefully he will be more confident when he comes back!!!

True. It must be hard being an introvert among a group of extroverted, loud, witty colleagues.

I don't see what the problem of him looking at breasts but I do see that he lacks confidence in himself every since debut. But I love how he is getting better I am so happy for him.

there is a vdeo i forgt the title but its about his story of being a trainee in SM and thats the main reason he lacks confidence. if you watch it its sooo sad..

rewatch back this video in 2020 make me realize that yesung’s personality don’t even change .. i wish he can one day he can be more confidence and happier..

Now he gained a lot of fans and screen time. And till now he is an affectionate person. Pray that people around him especially his partner will be loving and loyal to him. You deserve all the love yesung.

i share the same personality with yesung. T.T i always think i have to do my best in order to please people, so they dont ignore me T T

I hate when people say he has low self esteem cuz he actually does. i wish i could fly all the way to south korea just to tell yesung how special he truly is and how much fans love him.

yesung is unexpressive all the time, he didnt really show if he was angry, surprised or amused; he just keep that cold expression, so nobody can notice if he is hurt

ACertainSomeone I think so as well im the same as him. people think I have depression or anixenty or I lack confidence but I only talk when I have something important to say or when I feel comfortable with the things around me and my friends get mad at others when they say I should change my personality when they dont even know me so what I do is fake my personality around others and let my real self come out when im alone and im sad because I have to do that so I wouldn't get hurt

Well the time period after debut was quite harsh...and it was not until after he came back from the military that he actually started gaining more popularity.....and finally after black suit his popularity soared. His voice is low and doesn't usually go well with varshows...and he is not snarky like kyu either..and suju are more popular as variety idols...so it was really hard for him. Yesung is a pure artist...but finally in 2021 we can see his true potential....it only took 15 yrs :")

4:21 unable to stay alone, need to have company of a lot people... This still apply until now. Remember yesung said in suju return...he was so lonely doing the solo promotion...but he has improved so much now... If not, he wont release the 2nd album. Glad for him 😊 Also, kind of agree that yesung is easy to please and at the same time easy to make him mad/upset 😅 Heechul once said he likes yesung and in instant yesung was super happy. Also Heechul forgot that yesung was in magic album, and yesung was really upset 😅

I actually, (i am Sungmin biased, so i am pretty neutral) Yesung does not lack so much confidence as they all say...he rather is that guy that doesnt care alot about his surroundings(not in a bad way though, he just does not see it as important to be always be the middle of everything), he kinda want to have more screentime, that must have really hurt at the sj05 twins time because he mentions this quite often. Another problem ist he has that "resting bitch face" syndrom. Yesung seems cheerful but he smiles or laughs seldom, so people think he is either shy or weird etc etc. All these shows edit the people how they want, so we never get to hear the full truth

No, I think he really lacks of confidence. But I salute him. Despite that, he still work hard to gain the confidence. Yesung is sensitive. All the members said so. Sensitive person easily get hurt. I'm sensitive too. My emotion is not stable and it's hard to control it. My confidence is also very low. Yesung is traumatized that's why he lacks confidence. I remember he once said in radio that he didnt have confidence to release solo album. Luckily, he did release. And I'm glad that even though he was really down of his first album result, he still stand up and continue moving forward.

This show is very revealing of who Yesung is.And yes we need to give him more love than what he is getting now..I noticed it too that when he was given a compliment,he is very happy and at the same time uncomfortable like he is not use to it.. He should know that there are lot of people who loves ,cares and admire him.and will go at length to prove it..

Clouds, the other members werent laughing at yesung's lack of confidence or trying to bully him. Theyre like brothers so everyone is very comfortable with each other and knows yesung wouldnt take it seriously since theyre all close. If he gets offended that easily then he wouldnt be invited to variety shows. Yesung isnt as fragile as we think, so dont take it seriously ^_^

2020 and im here coz of yesung❤️❤️❤️ new fan😂 i even watch their old video up to present...even if he has the flow i do admire him a lot, who wouldnt hes talented, have a great voice, can dance too, he has a big heart too for everyone, his family , SJ brothers and others. Even if they always say that yesung is the worst, lets be practical he is the more attached to the group until now.

Yesung's lack of confidence has its root. He is talented and has wonderful voice, but Kpop highly values the outlook, and he had to give screen time to other members though he sings many parts. Totally understandable that he feels not respected
