I guess by this song, Len was already wondering (or knew) that Rin was his childhood friend. Just that he kept fighting her because he really believed his friend has changed for good; is gone. Spoilers: Kinda glad he still took the chance & got her treatment after this tho. Like... Rip to Lily, I guess but Rin's different
