Hey cat daddy, as a crane operator of nearly 25 years and a current CCO instructor at a crane school, I enjoyed this video. Overall it was very informative. I plan to let my students know about your channel so they can get more information. However there where a few things you said that I either disagreed with or I just do differently. That said, I appreciate the effort you put into this video. It's definitely going to help some people.

Cat daddy?
Thanks man, this helps. Switched to Tower crane 10+ years ago, but heading out on a 100T juice rig like yours. I ran RT’s for years and years before, but this’ll give me a head start when I get to this one. . (Maybe Tadano’s are different, but I always travel with the swing brake off and just the house lock engaged. I’ll have to look that up) Thanks and great video, brother.
Excellent video brother, I haven't been on a 100 ton Tadono since 2017, you brought it all back!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you for all your help. Great tutorial on Tadano
Thank you BB, this is the best instructional video on Tadano RT Crane on the whole web internet and cable TV i have ever come across. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 and I’m only 4 minutes into your video.

Preciate you bro. Got my fist interview on Monday for this crane here. Running equipment for 20 years dirt n forklifts. Tryna move up in that high seat.
I’m a new operator, just getting hired on to a bigger company, biggest crane they have is 500 ton. My previous experience is 18-22 Ton manitex boom truck crane. I want to run the big boys. No English tutorials, much thanks for this video. New subscriber.

Nice
Thank you so much
I had seen that piece on your wrist but did not realize what it was til the 3rd minute
Use front wheel steer if you want 3rd gear on the road. Will not leave 2nd gear in all-wheel steer.
You don't have to hit that switch to keep scoping. You can do it with the pedal the whole time. When you max out heavy boom you just hit that button.
You never turn the key. Only time is when the crane locks you out for safety and you need to to get back within chart
What if you don’t need the main boom. Doesn’t it run all the sections out same time at the length you want ? Or do you need to hold that button down to run all sections either way
@badboycranes361

There 2 modes if you put it on B mode then the main section comes out and you would have to press the button for the rest of the sections. So choose the other mode and you won’t have to press the button
👍
What boom angle do you level these rt cranes. Does it matter when jib is erected. In some rts. It just states a level ground on other rt brands
@badboycranes361

It’s safe to be at least between 30 to 40 degree angle and scoped in with no cab tilt to make sure you have maximum level
are these similar to GR-1450EX
Would this be the same setup for the 50t RT tadanos?
@badboycranes361

Yessir only thing different you might not need to scope out sections with the button

Okay that makes sense because I have operated 35ton and 50ton tadano and I was saying I never had to use that green button. I thought I was tripping. Thank you
Do you ever have a problem locking and unlocking suspension

Dumb question but can you extend and retract the boom under a load?
@michaeleggleston146

Can live boom with a very light load
Do a video on pre inspections hell I’ve been an operator for 10 years and there’s still some things I’m not the best at like checking hydraulic fluid lol
Is there no boom section pins on these cranes
@southboundoft
5 ай бұрын
No, they're live boom
@travisandrews6857

@@southboundoftI guess that makes sense on a rt would be a pita if you didn’t have a live boom

The 110t and 145t roughies have pinned sections
Terrible video, low information
So where is the new screen for the new LMI? Don’t worry I’m making one right meow
@badboycranes361

90% of jobs will have the old tadanos because it’s cheaper if you get a new one lmi is touch screen and very simple still nothing changes from the steps given
