    Its ratio 2/3 . It means 2 divided by 3. In design we assume 2/3 full

    Can be calculated from people water demand and other sewer lines assumption. Also can be calculated from drains where sewer is to be provided.....

    Dividing a number by 2/3 (i.e. 0.666..) is the same like multiplying by 3/2 (i.e. 1.5)

    Why would you design the sewage pipe to be at max flow? aren’t they suppose to be less than 100%

    1) sewage may increase after few years. 2) extra waste such as plastic bags, soul etc can decrease pipe diameter. 3) etc

    hey thank you for joining us.... i you mean by manning the manning formula, than remember for manning formula we will need constant of manning, bed slope of sewer and little hardworking for witted perimeter. so i think my approach is little easy ... what do you think?

    Remember we design sewer line to flow partially full. The manner in which you applied the continuity equation suggests that the pipe flows full.
