English lemon cake 🍋 very moist, melts in your mouth. Cake in 15 minutes!
In this video I tell you in detail how to prepare a delicious and very juicy lemon cake. Delicious and easy. ✅ Ingredients: (glass size 200 ml)
3 eggs
90 g/ 3 oz sugar (1/2 cup)
a pinch of salt
and the zest of two lemons
170 g/ 6 oz butter (8 tbsp.l)
200 g/ 7 oz flour (1 cup + 1/3 cup)
15 g/ 0.5 oz baking powder (3 tsp)
2 tbsp milk
Bake in the oven for 50 minutes at 160C (320F)
Soak:
75 ml/ 2.5 fl oz lemon juice (juice of two lemons)
100 g/ 3.5 oz powdered sugar
Cover with cling film and leave to cool completely.

Hello from Derbyshire, UK - An American by birth, I now find it much easier to use metric measurements, esp. for baking where it matters! Just as an aside, we used to make something called a Sunshine Cake that was similar, only it was made in a baking sheet as a tray cake and instead of lemons, we used oranges. It was wonderful and I'll bet this is as well ;-)

Hello from Melbourne, Australia. I made this cake following your instructions exactly. It was delicious and popular with the whole family. However, my mixture was no where near as runny as yours. Your amount of mixture seems more. I’ve never seen such big eggs. I used the the biggest I could buy (70gm each). Thank you for a great recipe🙏
