*English* Is the Dacia Spring any good at -11C? Sub freezing temps.
I have been able to test the Dacia Spring for a couple of days at around -6C and for 2 days at -11C, unfortunatelly the temperatures did not lasted low for long as the wheather got better at around 0C to 4C, nevertheless in January we should have a couple of days at -25C, we will have to wait and see.

Thank you, very much, greetings from Romania!there are some future episodes to follow.
I can help answer this...the spring is fine until around -15c including windchill, if it is exposed to this for too long it develops electrical faults where the car refuses to start or charge, sometimes these resolve themselves when the temperatures raise and sometimes not...last year with our spring it resolved itself, this year it is now in the dealership trying to be fixed (Dacia Spring 2022)

Thanks for the video, I hope kaufland do the same in Bulgaria too.

You are welcomed, i don't support K, but they do help out a bit.
Did you try to charge DC with those temperatures? I wonder about the speed (I live in Finland).

I did not, but with the AC there is no significant charge time increase, it is basicaly the same, i would imagine the same behaviour for DC charging.

DC charging is really slow on low temperatures (under 15kwh) because there is no thermal management. But if you are on transit it might be better, if you drove for a while the battery heated up. On normal conditions it can reach 30kwh

@@robert52429 Same with my i3 60. It is +-47 kw in winter, but mostly under 20 kw in winter if battery is not heated.
I wished you had informed about heating time to clear the windows (without scratching)

@@GarajPif you can use the app for heating the car. If the car is warm … windows should loose ice by itself without scratching it

@@RyoBLN ahhh ok, i got now, yes it never crossed my mind to use the app most distances are 4-5 km and did not felt the need to pre heat it. Will do that if temp fell below -10C. Thank you.
Can these handle -25C? I would need 150km range at those temps.

Hy, hardly, -25 is a bit much, you need to use a lot of energy for heating, otherwise it could purhaps make it.
the heater in car works better when you turn off eco try it!!!

Hy there, it figures, thanks.
Im guessing you drove with no heating ! Heater in Dacia has power of 4 kW dramatically reducing range. Summer driving range cca 230 km, winter cca 180km, winter with low heating 150km, winter with comfortable heating 130km.

I was using heating, can’t remember the heating level, you can adjust heating and fan level, i generally use Heating at 13-14 o’clock and fan level 1.

Radio take ca. 3 % of battery energy = You get 6-7km less drive

It does actually depend how long you travel, if you travel for 10 mins or 1 hour, it must be consuming around 300wh, then there is the Bluetooth, everything eats energy, but you must have at least a bit of confort.

Apropo poti dezaburi geamurile laterale si parbrizul simultan ... sa te documentezi un pic pe grupul de facebook
