What I liked in this tutorial is that Liza is collaborating to the young people that are circulating in modern society nowadays, so it is always updated if there is any new slang, idioms or phrases to be learned. I recommend this lessons to my sisters.
I love, Drake. Love to see him here always.
Slipped my mind: I received a notification of Lisa's KZread release, but I slipped my mind yesterday, that's is why I am watching today.
A great english teaching duo: Lisa & Drake.
Good morning from Northern part of Thailand. I've been acquainted with English for many years but when it comes to a time to speak, I feel lack of confidence snd I really wonder where all the vocabularies I've learnt have gone. They just don't come to my mind. When I watch this VDO of yours, I love the way it's been presented and can understand every word you say and now I can gain more confidence to speak it out. Thank you so much.
Drake is soooooo awesome. We all need a friend like Drake.
Awww Drake is back, I like him, thank you so much, Lisa
Drake and my dear teacher you are the best. Im trying to learn using advanced vocabulary . Working on it. I speak Armenian and Russian.
Wow! Watching videos of Drake is a mind-blowing experience! Congrats to both of you Lisa and Drake for creating these fascinating videos to teach us accurate English with a beautiful American accent.
I learn my english from Hollywood movies. They too are a reflection of the way native people communicate. But they do swear a lot that you must consciously avoid. Nice video lady. Love and respect from India.
I think Drake could even quit his job and become a English teacher seriously. You both are great combo.
Hi Lisa, I am 50 years old man, since english language has been becoming my passion I enjoy a lot of your lessons through this channel. Obviously, compare to other teacher you'd became my references in term of grammar and pronunciation. About partner like Drake help me a lot to know what's current colloquial language. Keep going Lisa, be a bless.

I love Drake!!! He is absolutely awesome at explaining the new phrases and words.
I take my time just to write down the entire conversation with Drake to improve my listening 🎧 skill, it's was very helpful, and it gave me a peace of mind when realize that just a couple months ago I cannot understand anything but now, not only i can hear but also I can write and build phrases on my own. Finally! Just could wait when you would be back with new expressions! Thank you so much! And a big "thank you" to Drake, he is really great at explaining expressions!
Lisa and Drake, "Great minds think alike" Thank you both for your sincere efforts and commitment.
An excellent useful lesson again. I have been living in America more than 30 years, still don't know some of these expressions. Thanks Lisa and Drake!!
Lisa and Drake have done a mind-blowing job! Why I'm saying that is because I frankly was in no mood to put my mind to anything at the moment when the video caught my eye. Halfheartedly I started to watch. Your dialogue was so engaging it helped me to put all of my focus onto it despite me having other things in the back of my mind. Thank you a lot! I managed to pick up a lot. PS As an aside. There are situations when someone's words "You don't have to worry any more" should not exactly take the load off your mind; quite the opposite. But it's a whole 'nother story, ha-ha. It definitely gives me peace of mind to know the way native speakers use these expressions because there's indeed myriad real-life situations when these phases are just the fit. As an example, one time I failed to mind manners at my friends' place and they let me have it, they were rather outspoken. Thank you, Lisa, for reminding that the goal is active learning. It helps the most. Have a great weekend! :) Please more videos featuring go-getters and achievers like Drake!

English language is full of idiomatic expressions and collocations . . . That's the beauty about English, and the explanation is crystal clear. Awesome lesson 💯👍.

Hi Lisa. I think that here in Brazil we have a similar expression to 'Out of Sight Out of Mind' that literally is 'What eyes don't see heart doesn't feel'. Thanks for another fantastic lesson with Drake!

This lesson was truly informative to improve our vocabulary and you both are fantastic in showing so many helpful examples. Thanks a lot
Go getter, state of mind, put his mind to it. When Drake came to Santa Monica, he had his state of mind be an actor. One time he had an audition opportunity, he put his mind to it. He told himself there is no quick fix of getting rid of his New York accent, He told himself I will show you I will be your go getter. In the end of audition, the producer played mind games, bluffed to Drake, he did not get the part. This is not the first time Drake was told so, he decided to sweep it under the rug, let it out of sight, out of mind,,,,, try again ,,,,, actually it was a bluffing by the producer, in the end. Drake was selected as a successful candidate.
English has ton of idioms and expressions . I have learnt since I was young and use every day at my job but it still has new ones. It blows my mind

We went to visit Santa Monica Pier 2 years ago while our son was in the Navy! He was stationed in Point Mugu !
Thank you Lisa for another great lessons. I would like to make a good suggestion. If you can post your lesson with script in your website, this would definitely help your student to learn your course proactively and intentionally. I think in this way also will grow the accurate English community as well. Again , big fans for your course.
Lisa, not going L.A. we are learning so many American colloquial words and expressions. May be I can't speak using these words like you American but as the words store in my mind, I can understand American colloquial English. Thank you Lisa for all of your precious videos! 💕💕💕💕💕. Lots of love 💕💕💕💕
