Try resetting it a few times with the new battery in and hopefully everything will be back. Glad to see you are also a man of culture rocking the yellow pet.

Hiya! I thought to give some tips on how to do the two player training in the v pets! I found this out when I was doing it to my own and it seems to work everytime! 1) When you first hop in ALWAYS press the top button. 2)Anytime if the attack goes through, switch the button (e.g. if you press top and it hits press the bottom and vice versa). 3) Anytime an attack doesn't go through, attack that area again. When the attack does eventually go through, hit that area as many times as it was blocked before switching. (E.g. if I pressed the top and it was blocked twice, I attack there twice when the hit lands before switching.) Repeat that number of hits when you do switch, and add one more on for each block. (For e.g. if I got blocked once on the first try, I hit that area again on the second. Then I switch, and if I get blocked again I hit that area twice because I got blocked twice in that session so far). This will ALWAYS get you at least 3 out of 5 hits, which is all you need to complete the training. I think that's because they never do more then two blocks in a row, so the amount of different patterns they block in are limited. Hope I could be of use!

I skipped on these for a wonderswan color and the digimon version ws. So I'm ready to go for that !!

What I am really curious to know which color digivice will unlock which anime egg. At GameStop, they listed them as "digivice assorted", which makes it seem as though the programming is identical in each and the only difference is the color of the actual device. If the programming is the same within each color, that means we would only be able to unlock one anime egg. I assume that if they do have the two anime eggs, red and yellow will have the special agumon egg, and blue and gray will have the special gabumon egg. I'm going to open up my Japanese gray and English gray and try the reset trick to get 5 different 20th anniversary name connections and see what happens!

i noticed on my it usually does the duo training in certain patterns, so after the first couple strikes you can easily guess the next 3.

I wonder if the quiet speakers have anything to do with how they connect to the main board with a spring rather than soldered wires? The international versions of the P1/P2 rereleases do that as well and I've heard a lot of people say the sound on them isn't as good as the Japanese ones.

The tag training is not random. There are 4 patterns the cpu has and it will choose one each time you do tag training

So is there a special technique to connecting 2 Ver 20s? I managed to do it once, but idk how because the numerous other attempts just beeped for a long time until they stopped.

You can up strength by feeding pills, it doesn't affect hunger and it's way faster than training

im having issues with my red x and blue x digivice they dont seem to want to connect to battle so what can i do to fix that ?

Any way to stop the clock so they dont wake up or get hungry well im at work, i work 12 hour shifts

I usually just put them to sleep and set the time to midnight.

Does anyone just randomly press the metal things on the top for no reason or is it just me?

I would say no it isnt but if it can battle a digivice its just as good as one.

Wait how many Digimon can you copy!? Are you saying I can have 10 badass Digimon just ready to trade whenever I want!?

You can change the volume lmao and it's choppy to have either 1 or both in the screen 😂

I hate to be the one to bring bad news but I connected my American 20th to my Japanese 20th and didn't get a new egg it seems like the egg unlocking is going the same route as the original 20th anniversary

Do you get different Digimon depending on colour of device?

You get different special eggs. Yellow and grey get anime gabumon line and blue and red get anime agumon line. You get them after connecting your devices to 5 other unique devices.
