Exactly! Plus this is for Trianon, 4 goals representing the 4 countries that took land from Hungary on June 4, 1920, exactly 102 years ago: Czechoslovakia, Austria, Romania, and Yugoslavia. The game also occurred 10 days after the 102 anniversary of the treaty’s signature, and it was won against England, who was one of the supervisors of the treaty and possibly was even one of the ones that came up with it even after thinking it was a fair thing, aside from France, whom Hungary defeated in 2021 on June 19 or some day around that time. Two large football loving countries both got paybacked by a smaller football country that they made fun of a lot over the years in many different ways that it still hasn’t forgotten in more than 100 years and it never will forget June 4, 1920. ❤️‍🩹 Now Hungary may be small in geography, but its inner heart is bigger than England’s ever will be in these types of things 💝

This is also for Trianon, 10 days late though 🫠 😳 Hang on… The Hungarian team scored 4 goals, one for each of the countries that earned land from it in 1920, exactly 102 years that ended the “100-year curse” in my words, those countries being Czechoslovakia, Austria, Romania, and Yugoslavia. They won against England, one of the countries to come up the treaty and to enforce it and to consider it as “fair” and “just” as it was. Shame finally got to them and France (in 2021, June 19-ish) both, rightfully deserved after what they’ve done over the years, including the stuff the English have been doing against the Hungarians ‘ Polish brothers, karma for ruining the national anthem aside from that. One goal separate for Austria, though, since they were allies before they were forcibly split. Forgive them for that, I’m sure they didn’t mean it like that. The only reason as to why Hungary didn’t score five was because that even though Poland got a slight chunk of land from it, they must’ve felt sympathy that they took land from their brother land, so that’s why the Hungarians don’t treat them so badly.

Hungary should have won the World Cup in 1954, 2-0 up in Switzerland against West Germany.....the rest is history. The magnificent Magyars, so close, so close!!! And I say that as as an England fan, Ferenc Puskas is a massive hero of mine. 6-3 at Wembley in 1953, 7-1 in Budapest. Wonderful football.

I would like to say "thank you for the win" to the English fans; they DID put fire into the Hungarian team when they disrespected the anthem and the game... But... What surprised me was the disrespect shown to their OWN team. When the Hungarian team is beaten to pulp (happens time to time) we urge them to fight to the last minute. How can someone become so spoiled and entitled that they leave well before the end just because they did not get what they EXPECTED?

@@meleardil Yes, I agree. They should respect both teams! You may not know, but the lyrics of the hungarian anthem is a humble prayer to God, BTW. Whisting and booing and dishonoring it are absolutely tasteless and rude... A week ago in Budapest we respected the English anthem which is also very beautiful (one of the most beautiful ones)! And we have always respected anthems. (We have problems only with kneeling and political messages during sport events).

There are several video out about that. The issue is that some fans not booed, but started to chanting loudly a song in english...During the hungarian national anthem. I never heard same thing. I saw booing, whistling during an anthem - but not overchanting with some stupid song, misusing the voice power of the home side... It was really horrific experience, especially becuase the hungarian anthem is a "prayer", starting with the word of "God". ("God bless the Hungarians") But anyway, of course there was english fans who doesn't acted same way. Of course this vlogger here was one of them

Regardless of how you want to spin this result, England is NOT a top side and the manager is rubbish. It was clear for all to see. Today there was no dodgy penalty to save the day. yes, the premier league is the best league in Europe, but the best players are all foreigners and they are only playing in the premier league because the teams have money to burn. This was the first time Southgate had to be tactical to get out of trouble and failed miserably. lost away and at home. he learned nothing. Hungarian football was good from 1930’s up until 1986 (Puskas and co. We’re from the late 1940s - 1956). But from 1986 until I’d say 2018 it was dead. There was the 2016 Euro which was good but then the best players retired and it wasn’t until Rossi took over that we have seen results. 2018 - 2021 we were decent but I think we became really good starting with the last Euro. Our style of play however became perfected right before these nations league when we tied England and beat Poland. These nations league games have just proven and confirmed that we have perfected our game and have a really good team again 👍🇭🇺
