I think buying the upgraded Pope is totally fair and will be a massive bonus for the team

I’ve needed a new series to watch and this is perfect. You should definitely be able to buy Nick Pope when you build up enough coins as a lack of evo upgrades on gk’s is on EA

I would say buy pope and have him not first owner then see if you can get keating or earps so that its an english keeper but theyll be good enough

I have an Uruguay RTG and played 1,500 games with gold Muslera. I think that you should buy Pope because the satisfaction of a full English team will make up for the goals you concede

I think buying the upgrade to pope is the fairest idea out of the 3, none of the icon keepers are English which defeats the objective of the rtg but it’s unfair on you to use a rare gold

I love this series coz i do nation teams away from my main team,its something different and keeps me playing EA FC....I always use icon keepers no matter what nation i use and i always like to put women in aswell...Great idea to do this,maybe next year games,whiles you focus on your Arsenal RTG also keep in mind a nation team aswell so you can do some great Evo links if the Arsenal players dont fit them

i'm gonna emulate this and see how quick i get a crazy side

I think when you pack a player who has a special version you should get the ability to upgrade them after completing a ‘challenge’. For example after 10 clean sheets you can buy Pope’s special card

I would say buy Pope card for sure. That will keep it most true to the Euro squad, while keeping it competitive!

With the new squads that brings in more players I think jwp might get a spot

Buying Pope is the way forward, don’t think that anytime would have an issue with that…as you say a decent keeper can win you games, and having an icon just seems massively at odds with an Eng RTG. If you could get a fresh/unused Pope that would be best, doubt there are many around tho…

I really don't see any issue with using a purchased GK, or even an Icon. If you can get the wins in champs to get a red evo I think you could justify putting that on a purchased GK, makes it more special/unique to your club.

Just buy what ever English GK you want. It'll piss you off having to use Pickford and the series will suffer. If a new keeper comes out that's an upgrade, upgrade away

For me it’s because he simply isn’t better than Stones. Southgate wants a ball secure CB, both in passing and in possession (Stones) and an aerially dominate CB which is always going to be Maguire. As much as I rate Tomori he isn’t as good as Stones and nowhere near good enough in the air to compete with Maguire.

Tomori just doesn't suit how southgate wants to play. He's Elite if a team is high pressing and dominating games. He can press, be aggressive and win the ball back so well. Most often over the past few years the England team has sat back and not really been aggressive in their tactics. Source: I'm an AC milan fan and have watched a shit load of Tomori haha. Would love to see him succeed at an international level though

Hi Nep. I have no problem with you using the GK that you want. For me you can use Cech. People are not in here to see the GK that you are using. They are here to see that players on the pitch, that you are actually controlling.

about the goalkeeper: I would really like you to go all english, so the icon is a no go ( chech, smichiel and casillas were shit for the shitters anyway). But I dont really care about first owner. as long as you dont just buy the best player for every position. goalkeeper is allright anyway I think. also because you will never be able to evo a goalkeeper.
