this is not a problem, this is normal safety feature for drive some mileage with reserve icon! and it is in most of or every car from years for our safety. so, i think its good to know how many mil/km we have more but i wouldnt "correct" this to 1:1 ;)

It's nonsense. To calculate "miles left in tank" the computer needs to know mpg, and that can vary with your driving. We have all seen the phenomenon where, after city driving for a while, we go on a highway and the miles left starts to go up.

Yes but this is a reading what actually is what’s left in your tank right there and then the onboard reading is near enough 100% spot on, the fuel gauge has a mind of it’s own. Thanks for watching.
