This video is about manufacturing process of solid forged steel Rail Wheel. Steel rod is first cut by robotics cutter into small size billet. This billet fed into oven to heat the steel at high temperature but not to the melting point. Red Hot billet is placed in the mold ( rail wheel) and it is pressed (forged) by ram. The product comes out of ram is red hot wheel and it is further processed into the perfect size.
