Breaking through the cloud to the beautiful blue sky and sunshine is the absolute best when experiencing a rainy departure. And those engines...pure music.

It took the Aircraft 6:30 mnts to reach above skies at an estimate altitude 19,500 feet. Sun and clear skies was visible at estimated (based on time) altitude 33,000 feet. Beautiful sound from the largest and most powerful General Electric GE90-115B turbofan engines.

22:08 the best part

This gives me me memories of my flight home to Miami from Dubai. I was in a window seat, pitched against the wall. And when it started it's spool, the vibration literally went through my entire body. The sounds was music to my ears, but as a frequent flyer, it might have been the best sound I've heard of the GE90-115B yet.

Those GE90-115Bs could move MT. Everest. Those engines are monsters.

Wowwwww...I loved your video the most. I have seen plenty but none as long as this only on take off...About 22 minutes into the taxiing ...was when the take off run began...and to watch it traverse through very cloudy skies for another 12 minutes, and when the airplane makes it over then...the beautiful blue skies ...a bright burning sun for company... my best wishes and thank you... to the pilot and you the observer...

Nice. I’ve taken off from SFO many, many times but never during rain. I don’t really fly much during winter.

I’ve never fly emirates,but I can imagine what the feeling to fly on emirates,I fly on Singapore airlines on the 777 too 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I flew corporate jets for 25 years. I really miss the "sight" of climbing out on top like this. Of course, the cockpit view was much better.

Yeah nice change from the usual 28 departures.

It is unusual to take off in that direction at SFO. Most of the time the winds come from the north. When it rains they come out of the south. That's why they had to taxi all that way out in the Bay to the opposite end of the runway from where they usually go.

At the beginning it looked like it was gonna takeoff during pushback~

Bin zu der Überzeugung gekommen, dass die enormen Mengen Wasser, die auch in den Kompressor der Turbine gelangen, die Leistung nicht beeinträchtigt sondern sogar fördert. Treibstoffe, wie Kerosin oder auch Benzin, entfachen nur dann ihre Wirkung wenn diese komprimiert werden. Es liegt demnach nahe, dass auch Wasser in den Kompressionsvorgängen im Kolbenmotor eine positive Wirkung ausüben kann. Das Gemisch von Wasser und Kerosin ergibt sich durch den Ansaugstrom. Die Umsetzung im Kolbenmotor müsste technisch gelöst werden.
