Hello sir Recently i bought baleno, in their manual manual they specific mention 0w16 engine oil for India, but most of service center put 5w30 synthetic engine oil. The cost of 0w16 for 3.5L is just Rs1600/- and 5w30 is around Rs3500-3700/-. Please suggest me engine oil, mostly i drive in city high traffic area's.

Experience was amazing. 1- engine noise reduces noticeably 2- Improved mileage around 1km/ltr 3- noticeably improved in cold start Only I don’t like it’s price 😂 bit pricey but done job well Go for it

Yes you can use ACEA C3. A3/B4 is high saps which is not good for bs6 engines with catalytic converters but if your car is bs4 then yeah you can use that too.

Hi Sir, Excellent video, I'm using Amsoil signature series in my Maruti Ritz Diesel (DDiS) (Italian Engine (Fiat Multijet)). The vehicle runs super smooth. Kya ye oil issues create karega in future. I'm using manufacturer recommended grade only (5w40).

Hey Pulkit! I recently created a video about oil grades. I don't think its true that petrols mostly use 30 and diesel 40... Hyundai uses 30 in both. Maruti uses 30. But in petrols they use W20. now they use 0w16

Depends on your budget, you can use Mobil 1 ESP which is more suited to warmer conditions or Amsoil Signature 5W30, otherwise the oil you used is good in itself.

Sir I have vast experience on this engine, and there are very few combinations which work on this engine. I tried ESP on this and it didn't excite us. Combinations that work I reveal on 1 to 1 basis only to people who really need them. You and I can personally connect and I will tell you there.

Greetings! Amsoil is a company, not a product. I do not support or discuss a company but a specific product. Fortunately or strangely the super costly Amsoil that it is World wide is actually very cheap here in India. By cheap I mean relatively cheap. Hope this helps. Do subscribe if you haven't. Ek e cheez bai bhaishab! There is no substitute of AMSOIL. Typically, for majority of Indian climate(s) 5W-30 is the best. Now whether it’s a signature series or European motor oil that’s a different story. But none can even come close to AMSOIL. Extremely good video. The point is most of us are unaware of these facts. It’s a disgress……. . Many of us still don’t know what are the major differences b/w synthetic vs fully synthetic vs 100% synthetic oil. I work for an international oil & gas major and can tell this responsibly.

@@hereforyouwhatWe need to consider certain things. There are understanding gaps in few areas and also awareness. A. There is nothing called AMSOIL regular and AMSOIL Germany B. Primarily, we should be looking for whether it’s API/SN or ACEA specifications grade oil. There are other bodies as well. But let’s keep the thing simpler C. In Indian context, if it’s a petrol vehicle, then normally we use API/SN specified oil D. For Diesel vehicles, we use ACEA specified oil E. For both the points C & D, I am not going into chemical composition details and what each and individual composition does. It’s not needed for the broader audiences as most of us are normal people. Very few of us are chemical engineers. Well! That’s aside F. All ways remember (For Diesel Vehicles):- 1. BS3/4 non-turbo should use ACEA A5/B5 or A3/B4 grade oil 2. BS4/BS6 turbo should use ACEA C2 or C3 or C5 grade oil depending upon the full exhaust design. In general, C3 grade is a kind of universal for all. 3. In Indian context, try to avoid C5 grade oil. These grade of oil is excellent. But there is a catch. C5/C6 grade oils come with low viscosity only. Unfortunately, which companies recommend only. Well! we design it and market it for specific reasons (excluding certain parameters). The main purpose is to boost the mileage. 4. If we understand the Indian climate and consider the metallurgy, then 5W-30, 5W-40, 0W-30 suit better depending upon in which part of India the vehicle will run. In India, never use *W-20 grade oil. It will damage your engine in long run. Now coming to your question. Mannol. Again the basic thing. It does come under the category where it can be compared with AMSOIL. It’s not Apple vs Apple. One of fully synthetic and the other one is 109% synthetic. Now what it means? It’s too technical to explain. But consider the fact that one is Johnnie Walke and the other one is Lagavulin.

From what I understand (I could be wrong), they are blenders and they dont have any refineries unlike Exxon Mobil or Shell, and they basically purchase base oil from refineries (Exxon Mobil or Shell?) and purchase additives from some other companies (Cheveron,Infineum or Lubrizol?) and blend and customize it.

Bhaiya can we use Castrol Edge 5W40 in Indica Xeta Petrol (MPFI )1.4 2006 model, only ran 25k kms surprisingly but on thicker oil but this is too less to even make a difference, used 10w40 this time which responded really well, should I go for edge 5W40, requirement is mid/low saps oil btw so only C3 oils are in my list.

After long time...welcome back...could you please let me know under which group does Motul 8100 x-cess 5w40 (imported)fully synthetic falls...also I have checked the product sheet as well and found that viscosity at 100 degree is 14.2 mm square per second, Viscosity Index of 172 and flash point of 230 degrees...please advise

Viscosity Index of 172 is very good, so is the flash point. 14.2cp is typical for 5w40 oils. Fully synthetic is just a marketing term. It should be a group 3 oil. The same Motul oil sold in Germany will be mentioned as synthetic technology and not "VollySynthetisch" in the sticker. X-cess oils can be used for BS4 cars. For BS6 cars, X-Clean should be used

@@pulkitkumara Finally had a chance to check the msds of the oil and it says 50% content is HYDROTREATED NEUTRAL OIL. This appears to be primarily Group3 since it says hydrotreated. Msds also indicates the presence of Esters, zinc and calcium. Appears to be having a good package overall

Your is a euro 6 so use Toyota recommended oil but if you are particularly about the engine then change at 8000 if driven in the city. Toyota oils are good. Being Euro 6 you should be more worried about intake manifold carbon deposit. I have the same but 2018 euro 4 model.

@@pulkitkumara thank you for clarification, I did reached out to Driverse they also recommended to add mos2 with this engine oil, hope that will also improve the life of engine.

Hello sir, Saw your youtube video Im having 1.5 tdi and 2.0tdi euipped cars. The engine oil spec is vw 505.01 Earlier the oem oil supplier was castrol magnatec professional for vw and skoda But from 2019 they have shifted to shell which is also 505.01 The car doesn’t perform same like it used to do on castrol days Now the engine noise is up Less average Shorter engine oil life. I have tried castrol edge 505.01 grade from amazon. Still the improvement was not much. Tried millers oil which was performance oil but with 505.01 spec. It lasted for 5k kms. But the performance was buttery smooth. Im planning to shift on 507 grade oil. Which vw recommends to be used for diesel cars having dpf. Indian vw cars doesn’t have dpf and thus are recommended to use 505.01 Will it be a good decision to shift on 507 As it’s more tried and tested in global market and people are happy with it. Here in india it’s not yet reviewed by anybody

Pulkit ji, Good Evening, Sir ! Thanks a lot for uploading another informative video after a long time 👌👍. I am using Liqui Moly 10w60 engine oil in my old fortuner diesel d4d for the last 5 years. Should i continue the same or else i use another variant of fully synthetic oil like Mannol 10w60. I mean..which one is better ? Kindly advise. I am also using liqui moly purge & Amsoil cetane booster at regular intervals, as per your advice. Both the products are really awesome and work. Grateful to you for your helpful information 🙏. Thank you sir for the warm reception. I am not sure about the reason of using 10W60. There are good oils in all brands, just have figure that out. I am glad that Purge and booster worked for you :) Thanks once again and please do share if possible.

bhai ji aap pls product reviews dalna start karo comparison diesel or petrol valo ko kon sa oil dale engine flush or additives insab ke lia mujhe kafi faida hai ha. Finally I started using additives after watching your video and this is a serious content India mai ye content kam hai. maine sare video dekh dali car se related aapki. Also pls agar Hindi mai content bana rahe ho to India ke kia content banao

Sir I would not try to use it. Rest is everybody's own sweet will. I always say - buy from Driverse and not Flipkart.

Sir, i have a bike pulsar 220f bs4 i am using 20w50 fullysynthetic castrol lutimate or motul 7100 20w50. But some time same grade not available in market can i use 10w50 or 15w50 please 🙏🏻 Take my question Help me sir 🙏🏻 and How many kilometers drive fullysynthetic oil motul or castrol. Thank you sir 🙏🏻

if you want true synthetic. choose motul 300 V² or ravenol racing. do not use km's for oil change. Change the oil if you detect drop of performance, noisy engine, or black oil.

Sir, I have Ford Endeavour 3.2 AT .85000 km run. My engine was roaring very much .Last time i used Motul 8100 X- Cess fully sinthetic oil 5w40 instead of 5w30.But not much difference in engine noise .Then I add Liqui moly Ceratec 300 ml and Roger engi tech 8 ml injection in engine.Now my engine is very smooth.but i reduce mileage up to one km/litre. Sir, for next oil fill, which grade and company recommended for my car ford endeavour?

having too much anti wear aditive will reduce performance because the additive reduce combustion efficiency.

It used to be. They were the ones who fought with Castrol for their oil. They have now stopped mentioning anything. Purists say - Buy Mobil German because there they mention properly.

Brar : Castrol fought and won a court case in USA to let itself call Group3 as synthetic. Do you still need a validation dear?

We rarely use our car It's been just 55k km in 5years we use our cars for short trips likely for 80 to 100km And occasionally long trips like 500 or 600 km yearly once
