Quality Control:

I'm old school I remember when the auto industry in detroit was booming ...Seeing the modern technology is sad...It's too sterile...The vehicles are far better, mechanically, but; They're soulless like these robots...The engineers and mechanics and programmers involved in the set up of these machines are at the highest levels of engineering prowess. It's all state of the art.

@@kdaltex Too true...But, warranties are much longer now than when I first started driving, in the 70's They were only 1 year then...Now they're up to 5 or 7 and 100K miles...That's positive...:)

@@godbluffvdgg they were 10 yr/100k miles in the 1990s-2000s. Now its 3yr/60,000 miles. More plastic in the engines handling hot fluids that causes nothing but issues, faulty electronics, "lifetime" sealed transmissions so you can't check or change the fluid yourself.

This was filmed on a day when the robots didn't need updating, or cleaning, or maintenance. The other 100,000 moving parts were all fairly new as well. I'm sure there is an army of scientists tending to this.

Im not sure, but i think, they first clamp in the cylinderbores to have perfect balanced alignment for milling the first 3 reference surfaces.

Thanks, nice video. In a1980 Munich BMW factory tour, the guide was pretty derogatory towards the Romanian & Bulgarian workers that were most of the work force there, guess they've been replaced by robots now.

Потому что раньше машины делали инженеры а теперь маркетологи и менеджеры. У всего есть запрограммированный ресурс. У меня до сих пор машина есть на ходу 90 года выпуска Ауди 100 , практически не нуждается ни в чем. Зато 2020 года Фиат Дукато постоянно по мелочам чтото требует, в первый месяц эксплуатации, перескочил ремень грм (!) как это может быть машина новая с завода была. никаких нагрузок

Technologia tak poszła do przodu że śilnik nie wytrzymuje 100tys. Te zdjęcia są stare bo śilniki są 4 czy 6 cylindrowe. A nie 3 tłokowe. To też to stara technologia. A jednak są na filmie śilniki 3 tłokowe..

В советские годы 8- часов в день (смену) наблюдал такую-же хрень. Где литьё блоков ? А у меня оно было.

It´s defenitely a mix of different enginges. Both petrol and diesel engines. 4cyl and 6cyl.
Вот смотрю на это великолепие и думаю - Технический прогресс это круто. Производство автоматизировано. Человеческий фактор практически не влияет на качество. Но куда делись двигатели-миллионники?

Через несколько лет вся эта красота уедет в третьи страны, либо на переплавку, так как отказ от ДВС к 30-35 году уже принят в Европе. Электромоторы проще и дешевле производить, работников еще меньше будет.

Вот именно в этом Немцы всегда были сильны , - у нас стоят станки немецкие 1941г выпуска HILLE-WERKE aktiengesellschaft DRESDEN , - которые отпахали на Гитлера , - а теперь уже на дворе 2024г - вы бы видели какой они идеальный модуль ( такая резьба ) нарезают на маленьких осях, валах и прочих деталях. А кто помнит завод в Москве ( красный пролетарий ) станкостроительный , а сколько таких заводов уничтожено ? Как видите рынок всё расставил по своим местам и жизнь тоже.

I agree, but started the beginning, we didn't see any casting of any metal. We don't have to see it being dug out of the ground, but yeah, then retitled the video I'm halfway through and haven't seen any casting of engine blocks.

Ты не прав! Есть такое и у нас, конечно не российского производства, работаю инженером АСУ-ТП, промышленная автоматика которая топовая типа AMC( Advanced motion control) Control tehnics, Simens, ABB и т.д. дорогая, а в нынешних условиях из политических моментов бывают элементы типа IGBT драйверов от Semikron которым аналогов в мире нет, очень много вопросов к корпорации Ростех.

А что в нем секретного то?! обычный современный завод в Китае Секретные технологии сегодня у росатома, где компессорные лопатки турбин начинают лазерами выплавлять из порошка так назыаемой 3Д печатью, и дозируя раные металлы прям на месте сварки издели получают легированные сплавы металлов

@@firebird976 вообще то Росатом сам производит станки для 3д спекания металла. А полые лопатки, способные работать при температуре превышающей температуру плавления металла, такой не секрет, что их на весь мир не более десятка компаний производят.
