Soooo wonderful to see and hear him in this video. The stunning thing is that, now at age 86, he is STILL able to deliver that same thrilling voice to us. What an amazing gift he is to the world!!!

Engelbert is the only singer who looks different in his concerts, as if he is more than one person. As for his voice, angels must have sent him to earth.

I just love this concert! He was so handsome and such a gorgeous once! I saw him in person when he first made Please Release Me many years ago..we are one yr apart in age..he’s now 85 I’m 84 ..going to see him in October this year! Can’t wait..still a handsome wonderful man❤️

Lucky for me I was on stage with my fave, Engelbert in 1970, I have the memory of 3 kisses, his hankie, and the backstage moments, and photos. He is my "Elvis". Many performances later, we 4 girlfriends organized several "sold out" bus trips to Toronto. Saw him last in 2019 in Orillia, he was in the same great singing voice, and mellowed by his age. The best there is, ENGLEBERT HUMPERDINCK. I am 84 yrs old and this memory is as vivid today as in 1970.

I was 13 years old and lucky to be at this concert in Bermuda it was my first live experience in music and had a profound effect on me. I became a singer 3 years later at 16 and spent 40 years of my life singing for Wayne Newton and many others, my favorite always remains Englebert hands down !!!!!!!

+annelenlovengegreece - I agree, I first heard about Engelbert when I heard Release Me played on a radio station in New York , when it was first released. i was captured by this voice, called the station and got what info they had. joined the fan club in England, and was able to keep track of what was happening in his life, and just a few years later Engelbert was invited to perform in Las Vegas, by no other than Dean Martin. We flew there to see him, and I have followed him and his career ever since. Having seen him in person just a few months ago, here in NY. He recently finished a tour in Australia and is now in South Africa, singing to all his fans there. An amazing singer, just about the best entertainer in the world, today!
