PLEASE PRAYERS FOR OUR SITUATIONS IN MY LIFE AND MY KIDS LIVES

As Christians we should have a understanding we are not to be accepted of this world. Therefore, I am not as phased by this. Look at our example, Christ, he preached, he was not accepted, he was persecuted. What makes us think we deserve better than Christ? In John 17:14, we are to be IN this world, not OF the world. Plus, Romans 5:3-4. One thing is for sure, having Donald Trump as President, has opened my eyes to see that some Christians want the power but refuse call out evil when they see it from either party. Our politicians, “leaders”, and the system are corrupt. We are being used. The only party that represents me is Christ.

Dear negative person. The truth is spoken here. Thank you for the book We Will Not Be Silenced. I will buy it and read it. Courage will abound in Christians who support one another. Unity in we won't be silenced!

Thank you for having Dr. Lutzer, he is the one to tell us of "We Will Not Be Silenced" his book. Very, Very good book. For us Christian to need to wake up and listen to what God says in the Bible.

I will order this book - and I will, in the future, refuse to accept any and all views that contradict the Bible. And I will continue to hold my Biblical views and express them - in and out of my church.

Looking forward to part 2. Maybe I will learn how to engage and take action without going into politics?

Ugh. I hope not. Scandalous hypocrite.

I hear you talking about the radical left without mentioning the radical right who are just as dangerous, if not more so. When speaking of radicals and extremists, we cannot leave out the radical right, the people that boldly spew hatred and vitriol in the name of Jesus. The church should not be silent. We need to speak truth. However, we need to speak truth with the love and grace of Jesus. We also need to remember our primary mission, the salvation of souls.

There have been so many right-wing (and not all far right-wing) who have been uninvited to college campuses. It is general public knowledge. There were many conservatives banned from T*itter and F*cebookd and even YT. This is general, common knowledge. Your ignorance is astonishing. Maybe you should try going to forums that do not align with your opinions and you might find out there is more going on in this world you are aware of.

Just because you’re free to express your opinions doesn’t insure that you’ll win in the market place of ideas. Keep speaking by all means. However, when you use straw man arguments, lie by omission, or conflate economic systems be prepared for people like me to point them out.

Sadly these big topic conversations devoid of diversity of thought seem to only hurt the witness of people. I fear that churches in the future will be more empty and even more lacking in diversity after all of this is over. Chose your words thoughtfully with love in mind on those social media platforms because they maybe the very words that create ex-Christians. 1 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3 So watch yourselves." Founding Fathers is a proper noun referring to a specific group: the delegates to the Constitutional Convention. There were other important players not attending but the 55 made up the core. The following facts are a matter of public record: Among the delegates were twenty-eight Episcopalians, eight Presbyterians, seven Congregationlists, two Lutherans, two Dutch reformed, two Methodists, two Roman Cathoilcs, one unknown and three deists Williamson, Wilson, and Franklin. This happened at a time when church membership typically entailed "sworn adherence to doctrinal creeds".

@@ameliaclayshulte7784 Jefferson and Monroe were not at the convention. Even if you add them in the total as Deists, the percent of Christians goes from 51 of 55 (93%) to 51 of 57 (89%). The tally proves the most influential group of men shaping the underpinnings of our nation were Christians. What follows from Jefferson having his own bible or the Treaty of Tripoli? Don't get stuck in a part to whole fallacy.

Communism is not Socialism. Socialist Western Europe is doing just fine. A very far cry from the former USSR, China, or North Korea.

Way to straw-man the defund the police movement. Literally no one “wants to open the jails”. “Defund the police” refers to reallocating public funds to go into social work. Deescalating people going through mental health crises shouldn’t be the cop’s problem. They are not specifically trained for that. They have more than enough actual criminals to keep them busy.

Cities across this great nation that have defunded police have seen a great rise in crime, violent crime. Look at what happened in Seattle for one small example. in 2019, Warnock (a Democratic Senate candidate) called for the mass release of prisoners, saying: “Somebody’s got to open up the jails and let our children go.”
