What a beautiful testimony! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Mine was a much more bumpy road, but I married the love of my life - after Jesus, of course!- almost 17 years ago, and we now have 5 beautiful children. I love how you always go back to living in God's Holy Will. This is the most important thing in life, so I can appreciate and understand the importance of it. God bless. I think she mentioned it was the Novena to the Sacrate Heart of Jesus. I am in my forties here and I keep praying and hoping. While things happen, in His timing and if it's His will, I also have stopped dating. After having to painfully let go of the one I thought was for me 3 years ago, I just can't. God knows what's best for us 🙏

Even though I’m only 19, I knew immediately that I met the man for me. I’m not Catholic yet, I just began RCIA, but I have wanted to be Catholic for a long time. After a few weeks of dating, Lucas finally told me was Catholic. He was afraid it was going to be a breaking point in our relationship, but for me it was the clearest sign I needed to know that he was the one for me. Thanks for sharing your video! I really relate! His telling me that he was Catholic was my own rainbow. :)

They have daily Bible readings with devotions and meetups called Blessed Brunches. That's where I met all my awesome Catholic friends. It really helps to have a community on your faith journey.

Hi Heather! It is 2 yrs after this was posted. Love your channel. I too married later. I dated different men, all were respectful and kind, but my heart just wouldn't let me settle wirh one. I should mention that I was a Protestant at the time. I didn't know what was wrong with me. At 29 I was set up with a blind date and met my current husband, a true gift from God! A devout Catholic. After 5 years of marriage, I converted. It has been truly the best thing that has ever happened to me! I have learned many things going through your past and present videos and am doing a Marian concecration program right now. Thank you! 🙏❤ PS we have been married 30 years and have raised a beautiful, devout son. ❤

me too and it was all worth it as it's always worth it to follow God's teaching even though at times it may be difficult.

This was not just a great romantic story but a great testimony. I actually feel like I needed to hear this and seek God’s will first and foremost. Thank you!

Oh my, your testimony is just what I needed to hear! I’m almost 25 and am still single I also was close to getting engaged, he was like Joe in your testimony, like exactly like him, he was a great Catholic man and knew he would propose soon but started having anxiety and I told him I couldn’t be with him, he also married basically a year after, and it also hurt how quickly he had gotten over. I also come from a broken family but I am still saving myself for marriage and you’ve given me hope that that special someone might still be out there. Thank you! P.S I’ve never seen your channel before but after I was feeling broken for not yet finding a husband , brought me here and I’ve subscribed 🙂

I’d say I came across your channel by “chance”, but I know better and it absolutely was heaven sent. Hearing you speak, your gentle stories and pure nature is a breath of fresh air in a world full of pain and sorrow, to which sometimes I feel is so lost. I love this I also meet my wife in the young adults when I was 24. 39 and still happily married with a 12 and 13 year old.

Loved this I had a similar feeling with my husband and left it to God and prayed. It’s magical and I didn’t get married until I was 30 as well

I cried through the last 7 minutes of this, with the Sacred Heart novena and the rainbow in the darkness story. And I am thanking God so much for bringing this to me now. You gave me so much hope and gratitude, Heather! Praying for you and Eric!

This was beautiful! We were high school sweethearts and hearing stories like this makes me realize I shouldn't take it for granted that we met so early in life. But you're so right, God knows what's best - whether it's meeting our spouse in high school or in our 30s ❤

This is so great! My boyfriend and I are opposite Myers Briggs as well and we match SO WELL on everything spiritually and life goal related and the Holy Spirit has certainly blessed us in this!

I feel the same way, I'm almost 28 and I've been wondering my whole life when I'm gonna get married...and I also was ready to get married right out of high school!

This is one of the best stories I ever heard. It makes me feel like I need to start doing more novenas too when I'm unsure of things, not just vocation wise but in knowing His Will-wise. I'm so happy and thankful that you were so trusting with God and willing to put Him first. It doesn't surprise me at all that He would give you a rainbow, God is so generous and loving. Your video gives me hope. I spent 26 years in a non-catholic marriage. I left that because it never felt 'right', but again I am with a non-catholic man. While that initially felt right, it no longer does and I am starting to see why. Now that I am finally understanding, GOD, in his infinite wisdom, has started to move me away from this relationship. I would love to meet a good catholic man whom I can spend the rest of my life with and finally feel at home. I am praying with St. Joseph and am waiting to see what HIS will for me is. When I feel myself getting impatient, and that is quite often still, I try to give it to the LORD. Please pray for me. Footnote: I just realized that I was led to your video for a reason. GOD is telling me to be patient and give everything to him.

As a catholic, i don't seek for (physical signs) and don't based my judgement on feelings but you have such a beautiful story. It's rare to find devout catholics esp here in the west side. Very inspiring! I also waited for a long time before i found my husband. God indeed knows what's best for all of us, He gives the desires of our hearts. We just have to be sensitive pf the promptimgs of the Holy Spirit.

33 and waiting.... I would say that of all my requests, this one breaks my heart the most. The waiting and quite frankly not even knowing if it's the path for me, even though it's what I've desired since I was a teen. To find my one.

This brings me hope. I too have broken an engagement and life went on. Your story reminds me of my current relationship with a guy I met at a Catholic Young Adult event.

I can relate, I'm the anxious one and my girlfriend is the "I'm ready" one of the story. I'm pretty sure that anxiety isn't from God because discerning in adoration I feel at peace. So I'll just trusting God and I'm praying that novena too. Pray for us!

Thank-you for sharing. There was a moment I cried out of sorrow and I ask God deeply and to Mary foeher intercession, for forgiveness for not always following fully his wil. For the times I was impure and not lived how he wanted me to. In the end, I wish I had. I am married to an amazing man who also lives God. We have a big road ahead to holiness. Please pray for us and our family so we may also strive to be holy every single day and live God above else.

Hi Heather, I really enjoy watching your videos, and I share them with my fiancee. This video, however, really touched me. I too was engaged, before meeting my current fiancee. Even right now I still doubt God because my fiancee and I have had to postpone our wedding from last summer to this upcoming summer (for financial and school reasons). I struggle believing if God really wants marriage for my beloved fiancee and I. Luckily this week though, at my new job I landed one of the biggest customers in my company (I do sales for a living) and this new customer will help me hit my monthly quotas and make a decent living in this job (Praise God!). So your video gives me much needed hope, because I'll admit I'm still kinda nervous that last minute we'll need to postpone the wedding again, and I know it would tear my heart apart (my fiancee has admitted the same fear to me too). In all though, I feel the pieces are finally coming together and working for our benefit. Also, it has strengthen our relationship with God and with each other. Keep up your ministry on KZread, and many blessings to you and your family. P.S., my fiancee and I are looking into learning the Marquette method of NFP, and/or the Boston Cross Check.
