I really hope she is taking her studies seriously too because she's still really young and her dreams can change. It's not the best for her to ONLY focus on singing/dancing. Although this video was filmed during winter break(?) so it was probably fine

It’s funny how everyone is saying that she should have her own style and not copy the personality of Jennie. But guys, she is 10 years old, she has time don’t worry, you just saw 10 minutes of her but she is practicing everyday for hours, she has time to do other things. Also to develop your own personality and style, learning from what have been already done and doing it repeatedly many times is a god way to after do your own stuff. You have to know that one who improvise are the ones who learned the most, it helps you to select ingredients from each different things that you learned, to mix them or combine them to create new things. But guys you have to let the time do it’s thing. I mean we all speak like we are idols… lol What I will more focus on the fact that her mother had the dream to become an idol and didn’t succeeded at archiving that goal, and now she puts her dreams and ambitions on her daughter. Is it really healthy? I heard stories about idols being cancelled for things like becoming idol just to get near the idol who they were fan of since their childhood, and things like that. But putting all that pressure on your daughter and making her literally work hard at an age this young isn’t it worst or at least toxic to that child?

her mom clearly said that she was against it at first cause she knows how hard it is going to be on her daughter and that she only agreed after witnessing her talent. the daughter clearly isn’t being forced cause she clearly enjoys dancing. If her mother had made her focus on studies instead of school people would still criticise her saying that she isn’t letting her daughter follow her dreams and is forcing her to study.

Just seeing little Jennie makes me smile, her voice is magnificent, the resemblance is dazzling, long live young Jennie

That's true but to become great dancers and singers it starts when people are young. However, for a child studies and their childhood is important so she needs to also be given the ability to socialise and just have fun. She is very dedicated and capable so I'm sure as she gets older she will become a star but she needs to be her own person rather than just a copy.

people forget that most competitive places or even sports start when ur young just like figure skating and no one complains when a 10 year old is following their dream to become professional football player or even a basketball player but they see someone training dancing and singing and for some reason its not alright? what just cause she's a child doesnt mean her dream is less than others some childreen have dreams of being a professional swimmer but will never be able cause they got no money to sustain that so im glad her mom is supporting her dream and telling that its gonna be hard cause its true every sport or job got a lot of competition and if she still wants to do it after being told that just means thats really what she wants to do. idk its just weird how something its alright and the others somehow hurts other people's ego in seeing a child working hard for their dream.

@@gunjathakar frr like wdym her mother also had the dream of becoming an idol but unfortunately her dream didn't got true so now she's making her daughter achieve that dream of her (if choha also has this dream then yes she should achieve that dream of her). And the worst part that her parents are letting them(show makers) call her Lil Jennie, and making her memorize lyrics at such a age, I'm very fortunate to have parents who don't hold too much rigid expectations for me

If she's happy doing all this and is doing this all on her own will Let her be , if we stop her from dancing practicing like the way she wants we would actually Ruin her ! She's a natural and absolutely loves what she does ! We all learn from studing other's work. Next step is to synthesize everithing she likes in a new unique form. Jeannie accomplishments and her mom's dream may be two nice ingredients, but this lovely girl will need to develop her own self-thought recipe. If not, copying a world star or trying to be you mom's idealized daughter may be counter productive or toxic in the worst case scenario. That is a no-no.

Hi Cho-ha, idk if you’ll read it but it’s important. As a dancer who had performed for a long time, there’s a advice for you. That’s when u are dancing, and you make a mistake, don’t blame yourself and let you down, because you have to think that nobody knows how is your performance and for them, it’s just nothing. So, this tip was really helpful for me to stay focused while I’m dancing, not regretting about the mistake and enjoying the moment. Hope this helps you
