Because soyeon are very self conscious about her look since she's a south korean. If soyeon were to born in other asia country such as japan or Indonesia she wouldn't be this insecure about it. I can bet she was bullied or never got a real friend since she's also home schooled so she getting a birthday wish by someone not her relative makes her really happy... Im so glad she finally found her sisters in idle because she's really precious

Grace battle Ash-B and i believe Grace was an idol/artist during this team, plus she said from her company and idol experience, she was called basically ugly, but not upfront as her company made 2 groups with pretty girls and ugly girls, so yeah Grace probably felt like shit when Ash-B quoted Soyeon and called her a forever trainee

actually jeon soyeon is not that good at dissing ... she said herself that she couldn’t do diss rap at all before unpretty rapstar. but she is especially good in wordplay and writing rap, such that although the rap is not very insulting, it is like a really good pun in korean. and her flow + delivery is of course top notch

She already been talked when the show aired, she got 3rd place. Means ppl voting for her till final 3, means she got those buzz around that time.

She is really pretty in my opinion and being told you're not at such a young age does bad things to you. I hope she doesn't feel that way anymore these days and knows her fans love her

The reason why Nada and Soyeon appeared to be better is not necessarily because of their rap but because of the fact that they presented a united front. They backed the other up during their rap parts and worked together while you can see that Grace didn't want to work with Ash B and was wandering around in the back while Ash B was rapping. She did the bare minimum to support Ash B and stayed in the back, not wanting to get involved in this since she herself didn't get along with Ash B and was friends with Nada and Soyeon

She explained it on her channel, she’s a singer, not a rapper. But she was still invited to join by mnet hahaha she lacks experience, but her songwriting skills and unique performances is what got her through up3 the most (based on the other contestants) it took her more than 5 episodes to be eliminated despite her lack of experience and popularity. Her nickname there is “zombie”, bec she always place 2nd or 3rd to last, which makes her subjected to elimination rounds. and every elimination performances, she bring something new to the table. I just rewatched up3 last night hahaha

I'm not butthurt I'm pretty chill it's just funny XD Of course they wouldn't had been able she was a trainee, and tbh it's so common trainees getting dissed on never debuting, and that's great Soyeon's doing so well, but you say guess who won as if Ash-B's doing bad XD Literally if you went with which female rappers are doing the best it'll go something like Soyeon, Youngji, Ash-B, Jessi, Swervy, Jvcki Wai, Since, Damini and that's it, if it was anyone else I'd say fair enough but there's no real reason to be petty lmao

I would love to be that kind of ugly. I guess Koreans have different beauty standards. They see unique faces as ugly and only like a certain doll like beauty which explains the whole plastic surgery craziness that exists in Korea.
