This was my very first cdrama. To this day, no other dramas even come close to this one. I have planned rewatching this many times but kept dropping after the first few minutes. Because it reminds me of old times and life has changed so much since then (not in a good way). It hurts me whenever I try to watch this again. I just wish I could turn back time and watch this for the first time again and live my life in the right way, again.

Me too, I usually have high expectation of K-drama. But this time, the original still the best! The actors can portray the characters very well. I do like how Shen Yue act cute, silly and bright very naturally, and Jiang Chen development is very noticeable, that's what I didn't get in the Korean version

ALSB is much more realistic and relate-able than Meteor Garden. The way Dao Ming Si was in the beginning i know will turn off every girl i know. Attacking your friend at her HS reunion, punching him out and sending him to the hospital? Lmao it's too dramatic. Maybe I am an older person watching dramas, but ALSB is a masterpiece.

There are actually some trailers from the Korean remake. I have to say, it's really really bad. Plus it's not really a remake since the Korean company didn't gave any money to the original Chinese one. So it's actually kinda copying.🤷‍♀️ Edit: The reason why I think the Korean version is bad is because the most important thing in my opinion in this drama is the height difference, this makes the drama cute. And the actors in the Korean ones are also really bad, the male actor doesn't look as good as Jiangchen. The Korean director thinks, giving the lead actress a bowl cut can make the drama as good as the Chinese version... It's a no from me.

I watched this drama for the first time after hearing the news of korean remake version last month. I was a kdrama lover and never interested to any chinese drama, but after i finished this drama i extremely fell in love with the chinese version and i don't know why i'm not too excited to watch the remake version maybe because i don't really like the cast. I saw this drama long ago, on a rainy day of June, when i was bored with everything. And I'm glad that i watched it because it made me feel the exact emotions like chen xiaoxi. So since than i rewatch it every June.

This drama never gets old. The vibe it has. The chemistry. The cast. I can't find another drama who gives me the same feeling as this one. I really love it. I miss it so much :(

I too have faced it!!!! But the fact was my crush too had feelings for me but he rejected bcoz his best friend too liked me!!!! I came to knew about it after last board exam from his best friend when he confessed . but it was late ..... we had to go different universities>

I am not that kind of person who watches C-drama or K-Drama , But after I watched A love so Beautiful I can't get over from it. The scenes, dialogues, cinematography , story lines and acting attached me emotionally to it . This drama not only shows love between the actors but also defines the meaning of friendship , school life, one sided love and competition. I really loved this show . This drama will be unique and special to me forever.

Just revisiting this masterpiece of a show. I consider myself a guy who doesn't like girly dramas that appeal to the female fantasy but I really enjoyed this show for some reason, it holds a special place in my heart. Enjoyable through the beginning and to the end. The character Wu Bai Song honestly made this show golden and his friendship with Xiaoxi was the cutest thing ever.

This drama and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo are my go to comfort dramas. I will never get tired of rewatching them. ❤

I just completed my middle schooling years and I am heading to highschool. Actually I had watched this drama when I was in 7th grade. So, it's gonna be almost 4 years that I have watched this drama.Over the years,I have seen the drama from different point of views. It's crazy how time passes so quickly.But this drama never fails to make me blush. re- watching the drama gives me some sort of butterflies in my belly. HahahA I love the drama and the writer of this drama and everyone who made it real. Well thank you all and I will keep re-watching this series!!

the girl is so obsessed with her crush. The fighting spirit is strong. love it.

Shen Yue is so adorable here...I just love her. Also this was the quickest rejection I've seen. "I like you" Instantly "I don't like you" Ok...I'll figure it out

I loved chinese drama because of this series. It is literally one of the best i have ever seen and so beautiful that you want to see it over and over again.
