This strange feeling when you finish an amazing drama and you just feel empty. This drama has dominated my life for the last two weeks and now I don't know what to do or how do go on. After all these episodes it's crazy to look back where we started. So many stories, so much happened and the time just flew by. One of the best dramas I've ever watched!!

Xu Feng emotions lost and love for Jinmi is so deep. You can drown in his tears.. both Xufeng and Runyu deserved an award 👏👏👏

honestly luo yunxi's performance as run-yu was amazing considering that it's a much more difficult part to act than many of the others. Run-yu changes so much... and watching him play Pu Chi as Run-yu was hilarious lmao

I think they got back since Run Yu admitted his mistakes. There are still mystery about this drama so we need Season 2. Still Deng Lun and Yang Zi are main leads. Deng Lun will play an adult version of his son😉

Still regretting the time I didn't watch this drama as I thought it was too long and it has been in my watchlist for almost two years. And now that I have finally watched it I wish it would've been more longer🤧😭 the story, acting and literally everything was heartwarming. This drama literally broke me 🤧😭 I've been crying my eyes out and this drama was worth my all tears and sleepless nights . Such a beautiful Ending. Kudos to the writer , director, producer and mostly our actors for making this drama such heart wrenching and heartwarming at the same time...

The part when Jin Mi saw Phoenix carrying their son and walking ahead really broke my heart, because he was the "once and future king" of Heaven and now is living like a nobody without receiving any honors on Earth. The Fire's Deity and God of war having such a simple life in the end. Don't get me wrong, this is the best ending for them but I think that those scenes want to stablish how much they both gave up for their love. The scene doesn"t have any colour, reminding us what Jin Mi gave for him. After being in the middle of those terrible losses and pain if they're gettin another chance it would be in a private way that doesn't awakes other people's greed and envy. They gave, sacrificed and suffered enough for the chance of being together. To me one of the best scenes of the entire drama because is so simple but meaningful, just a look and it shows how deep their love is. Congrats to the script writters because they gave us a Masterpiece full of poetry and meaning.

Moon lovers did had a happy ending. However the makers simply cut off the whole last scene where jungi came to iu in the modern world. They shooted the scene that was confirmed by jungki and iu. Only if we could see those scenes we wouldn't be left with such a bittersweet aftertaste from such a classic show

The way he cried in her arms just took my heart away. After this show It's hard to get something like this again

my favourite scene ever is when Xu Feng is just crying devastatingly. This scene shows that he got a sweet taste of happiness for a good minute before experiencing another bitter departure with Jin Mi. And then after waiting another 500 years on top of that just shows his love for her is so much deeper than we think. Ugh, we stan an immortal who knows how to love a single girl for the rest of his life.

He chose to be single and live with the golden memory they have passed. But didn't marry again. It's a big lesson. What a beautiful drama it was.

I have watch thousands of k-drama and c-drama with second male lead and I dare to say Runyu is the most pitiful, most heartbreaking second male lead ever! The actor, Leo Luo is phenomenal! He stole the entire show with his acting! His lonely eyes, his facial expressions, everything was perfect! He truly did a great job as Runyu 👏🏻👏🏻

Run Yu's whole life is an eternal tragedy His mother tortured and mutilated him, his stepmother wanted to kill him many times, TaiWei didn't care about him, Xu Feng didn't respect him (except for the last episode), his uncle was always biased towards Xu Feng and against Run Yu, Pu Chi Jun despises and insults Run Yu, and Jin Mi is the final nail in Run Yu's coffin. With the exception of Kuang Lu, everyone in this film belittled, insulted, insulted, slandered, misunderstood and framed Run Yu.

This is my third time watching this drama and it never gets old, this is what I called a masterpiece.

i dont know how many times i have rewatched this wonderful drama but everytime i watch, the emotion never changes. i laugh again over those silly scenes and cry again over those heart tormenting scenes. it is never ever enough. every character is equally lovable, unique and captivates us differently. the OST hits differently. love love and only love!!!!!!!!!

True.... its a very good ending the drama has also a lesson that you will learn not just a simple comedy, drama and romantic story...😊 but i wish the heavenly emperor fall in love to the girl who is serving him... but anyway.. in total its a great story😍😍

One thing we can learn here: Phoenix waited 500 years for Jinmi's reborn. Such a long and painful years and yet he still waited and hoped even if it seemed futile. Chief Zhang was right. You'll meet your "The One" at the right time and right place. Naaah! The ending is worth it! No sorrow nor tears can last. Eventually, celebration amd joy comes if you finally have the one you are praying and longing for beside you forever.😍 And yep! This i the best drama I've ever watched so far and will forever be.

I burst into tears when Phoenix addressed Run Yu as big brother. It just show that brotherly love still exists. The best possible ending. However my heart still aches for Run Yu.

His childhood wasn't colourful, so he didn't know how to love. Luo Yunxi is the name of that actor portrays who Run Yu. He has many projects for this year.

Yuk Ying Phang Jinmi wasn’t Runyu undoing. If she didn’t come into his life the status quo would have remained, xufeng would never have stopped his parents, runyu would have spend eternity with the drip of poison building in his soul trapped unable to escape. As long as his parents are alive none of them would be free, xufeng wouldn’t get rid of them mommy love and runyu didn’t have the willpower to fight until jinmi she was the spark that lit the flame. Runyu had to toss the chess board to reset the game, he needed to release years of agony, you must go to the brink of destruction then you can finally let go. And no matter what reason demon and heaven would have fought a war so by jinmi sacrificing herself they achieved an eternity of peace because her sacrifice would be remembered. Everything happened for a reason and everyone ended up where they should be. I just wish runyu was a little hopeful for the future.

I don't know what to say. After watching this movie I can see myself. When I think about it,it pricks my heart like a thorn💔💔💔😭😭. I don't know what to say. I am so lost in that world. I don't feel anything where are you now🥺🥺🥺. I am lost in another world. I can never free myself from this pain. I don't know, half of this film has also became a part of my pain😭😭😭💔. Where I am lost as to why this happened. Hearts break into pieces💔💔. It is not easy to put it together. Xu fang finally forgave his brother. But he still forgave him after what he did. Living with such a big heart is not as easy as you think😠😠😠💔💔😭😭🥺🥺. It is difficult for the person who takes this decision. Forgive that person even after every wrongdoing. Not everyone will be able to handle that situation at that place. Only he who has patience and endurance can do it. If I were in xu fang's place, I too would have forgiven him with a stone in my heart. And two things about humans that can destroy the world are anger and jealousy. That means not being able to see the goodness and happiness of others and not being able to tolerate it. This is the thing and this is the reason which makes a human being an animal instead of becoming a human being. That is why a person should always control his anger, jealousy and violence. I'm one of the late watchers of this drama but I'm glad I didn't watch it when it just started airing if not I would have died from heart attacks and heart breaks(lol.its not easy to wait to each episode weekly). I cried real hard throughout the whole episodes of this drama...This is the first Chinese drama I've finished within three days...Now it's my favorite Chinese drama...I want to watch Chinese dramas like it.....😭😭😭😭 I don't even want this drama to end...The director,producers, crew members, script writer and above all the main casts, supporting casts and extras deserve an award..🥺😭 Xu Feng and Jin Mi are my favorite casts, I'm going to be watching more movies of them..Sa Dingding is actually pretty and she sings perfectly..A huge fan of her songs but never cared to see pictures of her.. I'm finally able to see her in this movie and she killed it her role♥️...Pu Chi too and then old fox fairy😭😭 I'm already going to miss them.... I had to download the songs in this drama..And I'm an international fan who has decided to learn the Chinese language after watching so much c dramas..See you all here again in two months time♥️♥️

Good luck! Chinese is not easy to learn. Even us, we Chinese spend more than ten years to learn how to read and write the thousands of Chinese characters and the ancient Chinese phrases. 😂😂😂Chinese almost has no grammar but the vocaibuy is fucking huge.

The best love story ever💘. tbh this drama was in my watch list for more than a year but I didn't watch it cause I saw some heartbreaking scenes of it. But I regret not watching it earlier. I was afraid of sad ending but I thought it doesn't matter what the ending is, what matter is their story . this drama has been recommended by too many persons to me so I thought I should try it and damnnn I got hooked from the first episode🤍. everything was perfectly done, the storyline, background,music,emotions everything was well performed. This drama was indeed a roller coaster of my emotions♥️. I felt sorrow, happiness, frustration, hatred,love everything in it. This was indeed a masterpiece🕊️💗. i'm never gonna able to move on from this drama. I loved all characters especially jinmi'' her acting was looking natural.As I was able to feel her and her emotions. Yang zi is such a great actress🧡. thank you for letting me watch this masterpiece. I can say that if I die I can die without any regrets.✨ yupp one more thing it had increased my expectations of love💀💕. whatever now I can finally be at ease. tysm y'all💗

To the entire crew that made this drama, I want to say a big thank you for the big dark circles under my eyes. I spent a week watching this drama non stop, I was addicted. 😃😃😃😃😃

A lot of people criticize Runyu, it's understandable but for all those who claim that he was always bad and played a role in the first episodes I would like to reiterate several points : Some also invent that he only liked Jin Mi out of rivalry for Xu Feng (or worse, to use her against him). In episode 3 where he meets her, he doesn't know where she comes from. However, in episode 4, we see that he carefully kept the red thread she gave him. In this same episode, he even tries to find her by questioning her uncle because he believes she works for him. Only then did he learn that she worked for Xu Feng. How can you say he didn't sincerely fall in love when you think about it? - Some even claim that he wanted to use Jin Mi as the daughter of the water immortal from the start! It’s impossible, we clearly see him learn it in episode 14 (he even had to hide to learn it)! - In episode 8, it was Runyu, who returned urgently, who talked about the night rattan that could save Xu Feng. He even gave him magical prowess in order to keep him alive despite the danger it represented for himself and despite Liu Ying's warnings. Xu Feng even later admitted that Runyu had ruined his own cultivation by doing this. Would he have done this if he was already plotting against his brother ? -In episode 14, Runyu is remorseful about getting engaged to Jin Mi because he couldn't bear to hurt Xu Feng. Although some will say he was lying in front of Kuang Lu to whom he had just confided everything, we hear the thoughts of Runyu who is overcome with remorse when he listens to Kuan Lu's advice and decides to take Jin Mi from Xu Feng. He thinks "I will wrong you just this once. I will pay you back a hundred and thousand times in the future" . Even if things didn't turn out that way, he could only be sincere at the time: who plays a role and lies in their own thoughts? -In episode 35, when his father has just entrusted him with monitoring the Empress and her tribe, his only reaction is to be surprised that his father did not saving the lives of innocent people to check if he could entrust him with this mission and question him about his lack of empathy.. Strange reaction from a careerist who also wants to play a role in order to be well seen by his father Right after, when his father told him to never have love or pity for anyone, when he is alone, we clearly hear him thinking: "the nature's law is meciless, father, thanks for the guidance." How can we claim that he had bad intentions before that day? -In episode 43, when reflecting on his change, Runyu says that "a righteous man can be influenced easily ". Why say that if it wasn't more just before? Why play a role if he admits that he is no longer so fair? -In episode 44, when his father sends him a gift, he is not happy about it at all and says "The irony part is I didn't get anything when I was in good faith". Isn't it proof of his good faith when he was sympathetic in the first half of the drama? Did he play a role in front of Kuang Lu to whom he criticized the emperor, admitted having acted in bad faith and entrusted she with the task of calling his accomplices in order to carry out a putsch? -In episode 46, he explains to Xu Feng's ghost "Back then,I wanted to become stronger. So that I can give you whatever you whant. But now, i've finnaly understood..." Further proof that he sincerely loved his brother and that he subsequently changed. Or is he playing the good brother in front of his brother who he just had killed? -He is also accused of only thinking about power unlike his brother who first thinks of Jin Mi. But, in episode 57, when Jin Mi agrees to get married he thinks "I don't need fame and wealth but to be with you forever. I'll be content as long I can protect you." But perhaps, here too, his detractors will even claim that he plays a role in his thinking? -In episode 61, before dying, Jin Mi (who now knows everything Runyu had hidden from her) says to him "I hope you can change back to who you use to be". Then, full of nostalgia, she would like to return to the time when “Runyu was still this gentle and kind young man”. So, it's true, some might say that she's still wrong but, if that's the case, the big emotional scene of the drama loses all its impact! So, whatever we think of his actions in the second part of the series, even if we are disappointed with what he has become, we are forced to admit that it was heartbreak, loneliness and years of harassment that led him to this.

I still can’t hate Run Yu. Growing up he’s always been lonely, cold and being bullied. He’s never felt the warmth of mother love. I still remembered that time when he kneeled down and begged the Heavenly Empress to spare his mother’s life but instead his mother got killed in front of his face. Poor Run Yu, and also they shouldn’t have made him in love with Jin Mi, he deserves better than this.

The truth is that RunYu doesn't use JinMi. RunYu changed Jinmi's dream, his purpose was to separate Jinmi and Xufeng, not using Jinmi to kill Xufeng. 1. RunYu didn't know JinMi had a knife made from half the power of the Water God 2. If we assume that RunYu really knows, but he has no way of being sure that JinMi will bring the knife to the wedding. In the movie, there is no detail that RunYu asks Jinmi to bring the knife to the wedding. Therefore, Runyu's plan to rely on Jinmi stabbing Xufeng is unfounded 3. RunYu doesn't know that Xufeng is hiding the truth about the killer of the wind god and the water god (Xufeng knows the killer is related to his mother, because the magic that kills the two gods is fire glass) 4. Runyu didn't know that Xufeng was trying to trick Jinmi after promising to find the culprit that disappointed Jinmi and cut her hair and gave it to Xufeng for the purpose of parting. 5. Runyu doesn't know that Xufeng's bodyguard will block Taiji's sword and die, then Xufeng angrily uses glass fire, next JinMi stabs xufeng. (Runyu can't guess someone's random actions)

I feel very sad that many people who watched this movie misunderstood and framed Run Yu. The character Run Yu has suffered too much pain and injustice. At the end of the movie, he's Heavenly Emperor, but that's not his happiness, it's his tragedy. His father once said "Heavenly Emperor is the greatest prisoner in the universe". In the end, RunYu, who always dreamed of a free life, became the greatest prisoner in the universe. As a child he was tortured by his mother and lost his reverse scales, then he sacrificed half his life to save Jin Mi, he ended up devouring Qiong Qi. He has to live in solitude with a body and soul full of wounds. He did not live long. But that's also very good, death is the only release for Run Yu.

I'm watching again for the third time😢

看过邓伦的极限挑战，密探非常喜欢，这才开始看这部剧。整部剧都很棒，演员都演的不错。 最喜欢的还是邓伦杨紫的表演，演技，内心戏演的真好，长得又帅。结局太符合我意了，现在等待他的夜归人。

這是一部精典電視劇，我每一年都會看，因為太好看了，所以是我最喜歡的一部電視劇，沒有一部能夠超越它！！！

罗云熙身着古装立于河畔真是仙气萦绕!!! 太好看了! 好看得惊世出尘!

It’s been two years and no matter how many times I watch it, my hairs stand up, and my tears fall down. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get over this drama. My love for Xufeng and Jinmi, is boundless, even though I’m human and saying this but- if I think about it, I would sacrifice my life for them. It’s so beautiful. They’re so beautiful. I watched Ashes of love in March 19. It is my favourite drama - sharing the top spot with Nirvana in Fire. I kept re-watching this series so many times already and will continue to do so.... The undying love between the majestic and gorgeous Xufeng & beautiful Jinmi's will always have a place in my heart.

I just started watching it in May 2019, have not done yet. Absolutely agree with you, great drama, great actors and actress, everything is fantastic.

錦覓在鳳凰面前死了三次…失而復得、得而復失，錦覓投生前的現身，鳳凰已經不敢直接看錦覓而是一點一點透過眼角餘光，從自己的額髮隙縫偷瞄，堂堂火鳳/戰神/魔尊真是有被折磨到，都懂得害怕畏懼了…嘖嘖嘖 鄧倫這段演繹的真好！站在花轎前還緊張得深呼吸了呢！

愛总是那么珍贵，那么美好，但通过这部剧，我再次感受到痛苦和苦难的回报。 我深受感动，对伟大的导演、编剧和演员的精湛演技大加赞赏。 👏👏👏👍👍👍💞💕💖

最后这一世水神爹爹还是锦觅的爹，这个亮点很温馨。追完了，打算再从头看看前几集，那是最快乐的时光

最后润玉的镜头真的诠释得很好。。最大的宫殿里自己一个人高高在上，所拥有的人皆不是自己想要的陪伴。。最终我什么都有了，也什么都没有。。

距离第一次看这个系列已经三年了，我仍然无法忘记。每次我重看它，我发现自己哭了一条河。毫无疑问，这是我看过的最好的戏剧。

1 year ago since i watched this and now I'm here typing the receipt year 2022 that I finish it again! i declare that ASHES OF LOVE will never be forgotten, I loved everything about it.

罗云熙眼睛里真的有星光，邓伦的丹凤眼太适合演凤凰了，杨紫的演技自然生动，必须赞这个剧组，演员选的太到位了。

Usually, i quickly get bored by drama series because the story line are keep jumping around and back forth. But this drama series are so special. All contributors are also specials. Salute to the Writers, director, composer, actors and actresses..

My heart aches everytime I'm reminded of this drama. I don't know how to move on. Maybe only when I see yang zi and deng lun in another drama. Ashes of Love is painful, it always make me cry. Even with the ending, it's still painful! my heart can't take it. This is the best chinese fantasy drama i've ever watch. I will never be able to move on.

The scene where they have been reunited is the most happy moment which made me cry (tears of joy)😭❤️❤️

各位不覺得，錦覓的每一聲鳳凰，都喊的很好聽嗎？不管是讓誰來喊鳳凰，都沒有覓兒的情真意切。而且她每一次喊的方式和感覺都不一樣，這個台詞功底真的很厲害。 鄧倫哭的像個孩子，那麼驕傲的一隻鳳凰，為了愛人，不斷的懇求她留下，這一生，他怕是從來沒有這樣求過人吧~這是個很催淚的地方。 鳳凰的那聲“哥”，真的叫的很帶感，我的反應竟然跟潤玉一模一樣。那是在兩人從兄弟相護，到同愛錦覓，再到互相傷害，過往種種回首一看，最後的最後，都化成了這一聲“哥”，另我感到一陣強烈的鼻酸和心酸，千頭萬緒皆在心頭，情緒之多之複雜，濃的化不開。 小魚仙官回來了，他爸說的一句話，我覺得在這裡很合適。“天帝之位，是世間最大的牢籠”我覺得用一句話形容潤玉很有感：“可憐之人，必有可恨之處” 最後，有一個細節處理的很好，鳳凰帶著孩子往回家的路上走去的時候（潤玉離開沒多久，還沒進樹林時），覓覓喊了一聲“等我啊！”不知道各位有沒有注意到這裡，我覺得這個細節不錯。 看到水神出現，我很開心。想來他年輕時，形貌也像小魚仙官一樣吧~不過他們倆還是有些不一樣，一個溫潤如玉，一個柔情似水。但是水的個性比較好啊~能海納百川，卻也水能覆舟，三態變換，可化萬象。比起玉，我還是更喜歡水。 然後，有沒有道友和我一樣想念噗哧君和狐狸仙的？ *這則評論改了又改，最後終於完整的表達出我的意思了。看完這部劇，十分不捨，好像還有很多話可以說，有很多話想說，但是又說不出來。就說這些吧~

Não gosto de séries muito longas, porém Ashes of Love de 63 episódios, prendeu-me do principio ao fim. Uma bonita história de amor com 3 atores que eu amo. Adorei

"if there is love, why bother about sorrow and fear" ❤️..... I don't think I can ever move on from this drama... it's been more than 10 times I've watched it 🔥
