Finally a real old school artist who can do a lot with a few things without painting stupid boxes of swatches. This man paints real pictures out of nowhere. Take that as an example all you Swatch- Artists on youtube.

色鉛筆の感じを残している部分と、水彩絵の具になっている部分で表現に差をつけられるのが面白い画材ですね。その差のつけ方がとっても素敵で面白く見させていただきました。葉の付いているリンゴはなかなかこちらのスーパーでは見られないですが、新鮮な感じがしますね！

Such a relaxing video, and it was very nice to see an apple "grow" forth from the (seemingly) random colourstrokes in the beginning. It did capture the season perfectly and, yes, it made me hungry enough to want to bake an apple cake! Thank you for sharing your art with us!

Thank you so much for this video! You use oil pastels and I feel like drawing with oil pastels. You switch to watercolor pencils and I want to grab watercolor pencils myself. You are an inspiration! And you make drawing and painting look so easy without being simple.

@@JPdynabook Animals and still life stuff I put on a table top, like fruit and musical instruments with flowers and blue and white pottery. Some live pets and others from photographs. I work FT time it is a matter of getting better organized around time, for example I am meal prepping so I can play music and do art at night.

I use colored pencils also. It produces a different texture in watercolor and I find it harder to control the pressure on the pencils to get right shading. Love the apple my favorite fruit. I'll have to try these out then! I've actually been thinking about trying out watercolours but I find them rather... intimidating, I usually work with markers, pens, pencils, pencil colours and pastels, so these watercolour pencils might be a great way to start and build up to watercolours!

I grew up with an apple tree in the yard, so I knew instantly what you were making. It was delightful to watch you bring it to life.

I use these instead of pencils to draw the beginning of my painting and I love to keep the value and put in every other color just to enjoy it more. Some areas might be close but it is fun to paint that way. Since I know my painting palette too well, I turn off the lights and pick the pencil colors by their value and mark every area on the painting so that I know what to paint it. So it only goes by value and is a lot of fun. They are the Faber Castell too.

Looks like an apple to me 🤤 I always liked the versatility of watercolour pencils, have just bought the pastel set of these myself, but would wish they'd be a bit softer when used. It's not their fault (I actually feel they're - like most Faber-Castell products - of good quality), I just tend to get real crampy real fast ^^' Anyway love how you depicted this, Shibasaki-sama. It's the perfect time year for any dish made from these or eating them purely and yours looks so delicious and like it would just pop of the paper like that 🥰

最初淡いお色味かと思いきや、どんどん深くて奥行きのある、でもお日様の光を感じる鮮やかで優しい色合いに変わっていって、画面の前で拍手してしまいました 👏素敵すぎます… 水彩色鉛筆持っているのですが、イマイチ使い方がわからず放置してしまっていました。こんなふうに、何重にも丁寧に塗り重ねて使ってあげたいです。 ありがとうございます！
