Like I agree that the father has the right to move on, but it was the fact it wasn’t that long for him to move on and especially since he abandoned his kids. So I see Yei’s pov on that, that’s why I don’t like the father that much but I don’t have anything against Auntie Nipa.

Finally everything is falling into places.. The family reunion, the brother reconciling and the romance blooming everything is just perfect.. I love how there is not a single episode that ain't perfect... Oyei finally accepting Aunt Nipa is just soo sweet.. I am soo happy seeing them all eating food happily.. A step mom like Aunt Nipa is what every kid deserves.. I love how she treats Yak and Yei still as kids and not adults just like every mom..

As an eldest i think Yei remembered more of what happened and that's why his not as easily forgiving.

Finally someone gets it. My mother was in the same position as yei as a teen and it scarred her for life. Abandoning your child and leaving them with siblings to raise is cruel and sociopathic imo. A simple sorry and a nice dish won't make up for all the anguish yei had to go through until now.

Their father is selfish. He handled everything poorly. He got to walk away and move on with his life while leaving everything to his young sons. His so-called hurting is no excuse for walking out on his family.

When you say you're sorry, you're not making an excuse; you're asking forgiveness. He may have been a world champion, but he was not emotionally strong enough to deal with his wife's death at such a young age. That doesn't necessarily mean he's selfish but rather that he is weak outside of when he was in the ring. Who are you going to blame that on? Him? His father, for not raising him to be emotionally strong? Dad's mistake was not having this talk with his sons sooner, as soon as he recovered his mental and physical stability. But the whole family has been dysfunctional since the mother's death. Everyone's been hiding their true feelings from each other. Aunt Nipa is really quite amazing for coming through with the loan collateral after the way she's been treated.

Also, he got better enough to fall in love and still barely came around. Even if he couldn't handle being there, he couldn't check in? In my opinion, he's selfish.

I understand either Yak Dad thoughts and Yei and Yak feelings. They needed him but he run away. Yei had to take responsibilities for both, Yak and him

This episode was so good. I started tearing up. Family means so much to me so I got so emotional seeing them reconcile with their dad and Yei accepting Aunt Nipa.

Honestly, I feel bad for Yei... He was burdened with responsibilities he'd never asked for, performed them beyond his limits, yet got criticized, but never gave up... He basically started living his life dedicated to those responsibilities... The true Yei, who must've had dreams of his own, got burried under this responsible head of the family Yei...

Yei was really hurt Yak too and the reason was like I loved her too much, like they didn't? it was hard on all of them sticking together was needed more than never Yei was young and just had to carry everything on his shoulder and not asking for help is normal cause as elder we never see our sibling as grow up 😅 they're forever babies hahah

I understand and empathize with the dad's pain after the passing of his wife but there's still no excuse for him just abandoning Yei and Yak like that when they had also just lost their mother. He just gave up on his responsibilities and left Yei to shoulder all of them.

okay but ngl... i don't actually care how sad their father was. I really don't. His heartbreak doesn't justify abandoning his sons who were suffering too. Moving on is fine, its part of life, but there's a difference. He should have been there. He should have taken care of Yei and Yak. He lost his wife but they lost their mother. I don't care if he saw her face, because he should have kept his eyes on THEM. so what if he remembers the food they like, he wasn't there to help Yei make sure they ate at all. to clarify though, that's not at all Nipa's fault and she actually seems like an absolute sweetheart, so I'm glad Yei is opening up to her. I just wish he got to sucker punch his dad.

Great, Inn, Thor and Fluke are actors who know how to compose their characters with great precision that these fictional beings become real in the eyes of those who see them.

Yei is reasonable... why would you feel bad for someone who moved on from their wife just after her death.

He could have gotten help without leaving them. Yei is an amazing head of the family but he never should have had to be.

tbh this thing about their dad being lost and everything does not really change anything for me, I still think he sucks. Because it would be undertandable if they minded their own business and tried to build a new relationship slowly, but no, they expect Yei to just accept his dad changed and is a better person now. Guess what, he does not know that because he did not see his dad changing, HIS DAD WAS NOT THERE But I dont hold the same resentment towards step-mother, she just got involved in this mess and got hated as coleteral damage

Honestly i feel bad for the step mom bc she's just left to try and repair something she was not responsible for. Yak and Yei were their father's responsibility and he should have tried ro repair the relationship without introducing her first.

10:12 Stepping into the footsteps of another is a hard task, trying to care and parent in the place of someone who’s not there anymore must have been hard. She was being compared to someone who has no fault because they’re not there anymore, and to get validation from Yei must be a great relief ❤.

It's funny how parental negligence is something easily fixed on screen, and everybody celebrates it.

This drama gives me the feeling, not only love, but also the feeling of having family and family together, good drama 👍
