I like that this drama actually calls out the ML's mistakes and misbehaviors, a lot of them just sweep it under the rug or say its cause of xy or z as if that just excuses the bad behaviors. No matter what hardships anyone has had in the past it doesn't give them free license to take it out on others!

He is like a little child when he’s upset 🤣

I love the female lead, she is stubborn but she is strong willed

I don't like high handed but in this I give the point to the prince...all this would have been cleared if she had even just send a letter telling him she couldn't come. She loves to talk about rights n wrong but doesn't see how she was wrong in this place. She knows he is a prince n his temperament yet stood him up without an apology. Even if she came from the country side, she should not do like that as she's some kind of scholarship. She was wrong too. She's already lucky enough when she's talking in informal tones to Him. But he was a bit over powered too

An opinion. This drama has some interesting, intriguing emotional stops and starts. For sure to show diverse acting skills. The lead couple - squabble, squabble and now that is beginning to melt!!! Yea, yea!! The friends’ trio - sure have each other’s back. Especially the Prince. For sure he’s not all pride and arrogance. His little love interest matches him at times in their fiery spats then comes the melting process. Good job and good story telling/writing!! Not sure how this drama is being rated; but has kept my interest thus far. Look forward to a happy, happy new family ending!!

Honestly the intro song is so satisfying though I don't know the meaning but it's too good I can't stop listening to it 😍😍

22:54 First time ZXQ declares his crush in a clumsy puppy love like offer of peace. She jumps in to ask for help with the fan. Poor ZXQ has no clue this is intended for another guy (Li Congwen) as a token to free her from the contract !!

I love the female lead in every drama. She is pretty and acts very well. She makes her audiences having feeling for her. She is outstanding.

right? idk why ppl keep romanticizing it. they act like she's some heroine for standing up for herself. & im so confused because either these people dont know imperial china, or they just lack common sense. it's really not that hard to understand. the fl is not "standing up for herself against the tyrannical clutches of nobility." she's literally just a fucking idiot. who the hell does she think she is? she's a commoner born from a common family with no particularly deep roots in the imperial court, nobody there to support her, and no one who gives two shits abt her in a position of high office. the closest she has is the xie family- and their reach isn't even remotely near the level of the ML. The ML is "commandery prince." literally 1 level below prince. essentially the 3rd highest male title available- underneath the princes & the emperor. she basically has a death wish. 等着王爷除她九族吧。到时候看她还敢不敢在这里摆着她那张臭脸

Me am equal opportunity offender....so not because I am female I will defend her. She has more arrogance than the prince. Especially for a female living in that time period, stubbornness without smarts is just plain stupid....doesn't think things through just goes with whatever thoughts pop in her head.

Sometime the comment section is a bit too much like in this one drama (can't remember the name) the comment section was mocking the lead characters or the drama and when I actually watched the drama it wasn't even as bad as the comment section was making it to be for me I don't mind abit of misunderstandings not every drama is gonna be the same so there will be miscommunication as long as it has a happy ending and the leads become better its fine for me
