This is my first time watching such a drama where they blame men for not having a baby girl with women. Tgey can't even be educated. This drama clearly shows woman empowerment which we didn't expect to see in that era. It's a unique drama.

For anyone who's wondering whether this is worth your time, trust me when I say it is!! It will have you laughing until you cry, then actually crying of heartbreak later on in the drama. You will absolutely fall in love with the characters, and the chemistry between the leads is SO good!! This drama sounds so cliche, but it actually takes the cliches commonly found in c dramas and kind of makes fun of them in the most amazing way. I literally can't say enough good things about this! Even after watching the top rated dramas like Love O2O and Skate Into Love, I'd still have to say this is my favorite!

For those starting or contemplating about watching this drama, I urge you to give this drama a shot. I usually watch C-dramas that are modern day/childhood to adult life type of C-dramas. Never have I watched a historical C-drama. But this one did not disappoint. There is the right amount of comedy, romance, and a game of push and pull with the main couple. The chemistry between the leads are amazing and the only bad thing that happened is that this drama had to end. To all future viewers, I hope you enjoy the ride of the Romance of Banana and Orange (you will understand later if you continue watching)!

OMG! Episode 1, when the servant, covered in blood, reports that he killed "the chief culprit," I HOWLED with laughter, and had to pause the show. I laughed for about 10 minutes straight. Whoever wrote that scene deserves a comedy award.

Believe me, you will regret after watching this drama because you can't find another drama like this.This drama is so fine ^_^

这部剧的成功有一部分是造型师的功劳。服装，发型都很配男女主。其他一些偶像剧都是男主留着长发飘飘，额头两边还留出两缕头发，男子的阳刚之气都给娘化了。背景音乐在适当的场景也配合得非常好👍

This is such a good show - low budget, but the script, plot, dialogue, actors (both ML+FL AND supporting characters) are soo good. Really funny if you like fluffy but smart, tongue-in-cheek style comedy. And the story is very aware of its own sillyness and constantly comments on it, making it an actual intelligent romcom (which is so rare, even in Western films/TV series). Took me a few episodes to get into and get used to the low budget look (slightly shabby - don't watch it if All you want is gorgeous costumes and settings!) and silly humor (which it took me several episodes to understand, since I didn't get that it's a parody on other, similar shows). It's not perfect, but still really worth a watch, and the ending while maybe slightly confusing is still satisfying.

I love Zhao lu si,she is a comedian,I have never regret watching a movie starring her❤❤❤❤❤

The beginning she's SO pretty like the hairstyle would look weird on anyone, but IT FIT ZHAO LUSI PERFECTLY

For anyone who is thinking If they should watch this or not I suggest you watch this. this is the best drama I swear this drama will have you laugh until you cry. 😂 you won’t regret watching this drama drama 🎭 and the character 😫 they are so good you will absolutely fall in love with them after you watch some episodes 💗 the most important thing the chemistry between the male lead and female lead is SOO GOOD 😙 I started to watch this drama 3 days ago and I have finished already and not to mention I have exam 🌞 I’m sad that I have already finished this drama I hope they make season 2. 😊 this was first drama tha I laugh that much. im gonna miss Lu Si and Yu Xi so freaking much 😭😭 and I hope they make new drama together. 😙

I absolutely love C-Dramas because of how well they can tell a story and keep you invested. I found this one a year ago and as soon as it went "flashbacks and future scenes*, I got put off. What a mistake I made! A year later I found it again and decided to push through, but my goodness, how GOOD!! This is now my 2nd time watching it, and I'm pretty sure they'll be a 10th time too 😂❤

Imagine watching The romance of tiger and rose in the future and not having to wait for season 2

I've watched this, the entire series, for a 2nd time and cannot recommend it enough! 👍👍 Even though I knew what to expect this time, I still 😆😆 and 😢😢 like it was the first viewing. I enjoyed the evolution of the characters, twists in the story and ... the leads are just too cute! Yeah - I'm ready for Season 2 and to see all the same characters and stories evolve and mature. Well put together!! 👏👏👏👏 I had this drama in my movie collection for so long, and I didn't have a clue that it was this thrilling... Lesson learned was that most of the time, it's the movies with the simplest impression, always turn out to be great.. You could watch this drama countless times and you wouldn't get bored of it.. It was just well created, it's a masterpiece.. My only disappointment is, I wish if it was longer, it worth every single second of my time...

Definitely worth binge watching! It's a great story will everything: romance, drama, intrigue, comedy, great acting and a wonderful ending. It's one of the best I've seen.

Never thought my second time watching this would be under such a heavy heart... really needed something to cheer me up.. my white moon... Haruma, still can’t believe it... hope Han shuo and xiao qian can give me some cure...
