500 dollars per person (probably in a month) is so cheap for Riki. I heard that YG Ent. spends a 100.000 dollars per a A-class trainee in a year (including living in the dorm+transportation+ kitchen costs, too of course) Riki worked with idols in SM so I’m sure that his salary as a choreographer and back dancer was a good amount. Maybe he didn’t say the real price for his classes. 🤣

He’s so humble. He didn’t mentioned at all about he did the choreo for korean idols. Rikimaru so amazing!

I know right? but I guess they probably already knew about it. He choreographed for SM artists especially SHINEE, there's no way he would be that unknown

I know this is an old comment but gonna write in here in case someone sees it in the future. They did mention that he's worked with international singers before, but as this is still during the Korean ban in China (no speaking Korean on tv, no Koreans showing up on tv though Koreans with another passport e.g. Jessica from SNSD can still appear). So it might be not so much that he didn't mention it because he is so humble (though I do think he is) but also that he wasn't allowed to mention it.

I guess not all people knew about it but Rikimaru is a choreographer of BoA, Key, Taemin, SHINee in general and also Red Velvet, Kpop groups and soloists from one of the big 3 agencies, SM Entertainment.

Yep, that's him! Rikimaru Chikada. His sister Yumeri choreographed there, too. At 3:52 Xu Shaolan asked Rikimaru if he could take Yumeri's classes.

Riki's dancing class fee is not cheap at all. Tencent really hits a jackpot with Riki when they have a world class choreographer & dancer to teach the contestans FOR FREE! And yet they don't treat him right in this show!

some people dont actually get how good riki is. he choreographed for taemin‘s famous, red velvet‘s rookie, boa‘s lookbook and one shot, two shot, etc.

In the world of dancing, choreographing for a kpop group is not the AS big as fans make it seem. Don’t get me wrong, it’s huge to be choreographing for big names, but and Rikimaru is insanely talented, I just wish people would stop using Kpop as the standard to judge how good something is.

I just can’t believe rikimaru is here, he’s has been one of my favourite choreographer for so many years and finally he gets the recognition he deserves!

I very like Rikimaru`s dance and attitude. His face is beautiful than me, especially after making-up. We can be easy to find a dancing-King, not a great teacher.

one of the trainee said that his rate is about 40000 RMB, and he also said 500$/each. I think the rate 40000 RMB is for a 3-hour class for about 10-12 students
