this is like. the tenth time i see these scenes and i still cried as much as i did when i first watched this event 😭

WHAAA THANK YOU FOR THE HARDWORK!! Chap 7 really is just a rollercoaster of emotions 🥲 As for the description, my fav wxs story so far would be this one (but it used to be Smile of Dreamer) because it really just hits you with a lot of feelings and you really see how far wxs AND emu’s family has come 🥹 like if you compare them now and from Smile of Dreamer, it’s just crazy how much has changed. Emu’s family (especially her brothers) have grown to become better people and actually support Emu’s endeavours now which I greatly appreciate. Smile of Dreamer holds a special place in my heart because of the ferris wheel scene and just how supportive everyone is of Emu. Whaaa i love them all so much 😭

This is so freakin emotional..I can’t 😭😭 but I love how nene gives emu a hug best emunene scene. 😭😭

Thank all three of you for the translations, it was truly worth the wait! The event isn't even completed yet but I'm already so happy for them 😭 Sure you can just... figure it out by the new song lyrics or the ending cinematic or smth that they didn't disband for real after all, but you also still want to see *how* they come to their decision. Speaking of the favorite wxs story... honestly, it's still the main story for me, no matter how much I love the events and their development. I think it was already a really strong start, showing how chaotic and silly they are, making you shout out "what's going on now???" every time lol, while also pointing out that they all were a bunch of loners and weirdos who really got lucky to find each other. During that chapter where they argued over their failed show and almost broke up, I got already so involved that I just *had to* unlock the rest of the story asap so they come back together again. (Again, you could figure out that they do reunite, but you get it, just like in the current story lol) No other story in the game made me feel like that! I feel like your TL notes were an extra punch in the gut. Like an extra reminder on top of the story itself of how far they've gone since the very beginning, and the readers together with them. (I've been playing for just a year tho haha. 20(?) isn't old at all however 🤭) Thank you once again 😊

The first story was a really good start, and it really has a way of hooking the audience whilst letting each member’s individual characters shine! (and haha, im glad to hear that! I feel like a baby-adult, being 21!)

I know that it's not necessary and everyone has their own lives and the heart is already nice to receive, but it's also exciting to see when the video authors gladly talk to commenters hehe. Tbh I don't remember if I appeared often in your comment sections before, but I'm glad to see that ☺ ahahaha can imagine how stressful it is to reply to everything, to remember which comment goes where and what kind of video that was and such 😅 (ikr... but don't get discouraged! bc there's still a whole life ahead and it's not really an end of the world if you don't know smth hehe. I'm 27 and there's still a lot of stuff I don't know, or smth I can learn from younger people, or smth the older ones can learn from me! I think the experience the attitude about yourself is more important than the number in your id 😎)

Interacting with commenters is always fun! Especially longer messages with insight and the like! It's really interesting to hear everyone's thoughts on the stories, or to see their reactions! You've appeared 7 times to be exact! I appreciate every single comment ^^ And yeah, it gets a little overwhelming at times, but not because I don't enjoy the comments or anything! I mostly just feel like everyone deserves the justice of a proper reply, but having to give everyone a "good" reply is... hard!! There's so many of you guys!! I love everyone but !! Theres so many!! There I am sobbing from the roller coaster of emotions that is this chapter only for my immersion to suddenly be broken by the infamous Haruka “Showbiz Baby” Didn’t expect to see that but I love it. Also tysm for the translations over the years. Always look forward to seeing them from you ❤❤❤

Thanks so much for the translations!! Jesus this chapter is emotional, but strangely cathartic after an entire year of events in which they avoided talking about their feelings despite the fact (for at least 3 out of 4, and especially rui and emu) it was making them suffer quite a bit in the meantime. we all need a cry circle sometimes yk. I'm very glad it worked out for them though; for me the non-disbandment was spoiled by existing on the subreddit around the time this came out, but I've been led astray by incorrect spoilers in the past so I wasn't sure if I should believe it, or more importantly how we got there. I mean, they'd all be ok regardless of if they were travelling together or not, but the story does a great job of making you feel what the characters feel-- which is that they are literally being torn between their dreams and the friends who helped them get there, that despite the fact they'd be leaving to get basically everything they have ever wanted, logic and words mean nothing next to the reality of their emotions. My favorite wondershow event is very difficult because they really started putting out nonstop bangers towards the end, but I gotta go with towards the phoenix at the sky's edge. I love tsukasa and I love arcs that put characters through the wringer in order to make them face themselves. Plus, tsukasa is the type that would never stop and self-reflect if he wasn't forced to, which makes that kind of story all the more impactful. I've cried rewatching that event an embarrassing amount of times, whether it was because of the phenomenal voice acting, or the atmosphere of mounting pressure as he slowly begins to crack, or because i happen to have a few traits in common with him that make a couple of his inner monologues hit a bit too close to home. The whole thing has a training arc vibe which gives it a feeling of grit and forward momentum, a great sense of mood and slow build up to a breaking point that you are just waiting to boil over, and three separate scenes that are all phenomenally written, phenomenally voice acted breakdowns that somehow build to one another, the last one being ambiguous to how "real" it is, as well as an effective climax to the training itself, and then to a well-earned happy ending. I find it incredibly emotionally satisfying and very informative character-wise. I might end up having a similar view of this event, but since I'm not done yet and I haven't had time to sit with it like i have phoenix, that one is my fav for now. In any case, once again, you all are a godsend for translating. I'm very glad to finally be able to experience the whole version

I only started reading the WxS event stories (which were the first I’d ever read) back when Wonder Magical Showtime was released, which was back in mid-2021 (watching your translations of course), but I did go back and read all of the events. After staying consistent when reading every new WxS event as soon as it came out for about 2 years now, it really is so amazing to see how much the characters and stories have changed! I’m sure that what I could say about it would be obvious to everyone (and probably things that I’ve said before), but the flashbacks to the main story definitely got me when I was reading this chapter the night of the event release (and cried a lot more then 😭). It might be because I just got sick AGAIN, but I don’t really have much to say for this chapter besides how emotionally significant it is and how the conclusion that Emu (and everybody else) can expand their horizons and then come back to the stage is a very “WxS-like” ending, which reminded me of the Wonder Magical Showtime event, thinking that it might be impossible that their problem would come to the conclusion that they were really hoping for, but that really makes the story so bright! My favorite Project Sekai event story, which is in no way a surprise, would absolutely be the Potato event. As I mentioned before, when I was reading the first arc events for the first time, I did end up reading them backwards “chronologically”, which led me to read the Potato event last. I had no idea what it was about, which gave me no idea as to what I was about to experience. When that infamous scene played out, and the argument following it, I must say, that really hit me very unexpectedly! So unexpectedly that I definitely cried too much and thought that over for the longest time, which made Rui my favorite character for certain. Revival My Dream and Curtain Call are definitely my other two favorite events, but I think that the Potato event is so significant to Rui’s character (and important to me on a personal level), that I can’t help but claim it as my favorite. Anyway, thank you very much for this translation! I was actually hoping that you would post this chapter so I could drop a comment, and I’m glad about that! I’m glad to have stuck to all of these translations, and I’ll see what will happen in the future!

to get the obvious stuff out of the way - yes i cried The crying scene is so well done THESE KIDS NEEDED TO ALLOW THEMSELVES TO CRY FOR A WHILE NOW Can we take a moment to appreciate Emu's brothers's character development? they started pretty much as villains in Emu's first focus, so much that it felt that Emu's family is a toxic place- but no. they're also just people. i've been waiting for them to say "we'll protect the park for you" because, the thing is, Emu was originally trying to protect the park (wonderstage in particular) FROM them! That's just. Gosh I love seeing this But my favorite line has got to be "you're still a high school student." And then they said it to Rui too. The dudes did the right thing as adults, because wxs is literally children who don't have to go through all of this stuff. Before they were like "urgh Emu why are you acting like a kid, grow up" and now they're like "Emu, you don't have to be growing up asap because you're literally a child." This was so wonderhoy

I know i'm late but wandashow is just the most cheerful unit from beginning so when we see wandashow event story like this is, like we have more acknowledges of the group backstory and the group problem. And then we will become more sympathy to the group
