Well, let's say that Moo had started to drink or take drugs. Then would it have been for Moo's own sake? Both his love affair and his career would have been destroyed. Why is it that there is a veritable parade of people in this story who think they know Moo's own sake better than he does? Kang, Dao, Shone, Jang, their manager, and the lady who lectured Moo about his contract. They think only of fame and money. You get to live a life like Donald Trump's if that's all you think of. Happiest man alive? It's not like no one has ever given up a career for the person he/she is in love with. Or to have and raise a baby they love, say. I hope the writers have found a way to get them back together, or else the whole premise, that they are deeply in love with one another, and had good reason to be, is to be questioned. Maybe it was a pretty shallow relationship full of pretty words but no real commitment after all. "You are fun to be around and make me feel good, but I'm not really willing to sacrifice anything important for you." And to be honest, Kang has gone too far in his selflessness that is bordering on selfishness. He seems to be financially stable, though hardly climbing his Everest by drawing and painting at university festivals. Is his mother now begging on the street, since he decided to close down their shop to avoid Moo? He is on the verge of being annoyingly self-sacrificing. Moo was willing to fight for them. Kang just gave in and broke all his promises. "I will always hold your hand,....um, unless I determine, not you, that it's inconvenient to you for me do so sometime in the future." It was Kang in the break-up scene who, in effect, became impetuous, a quality we associated with Moo at the beginning of this story. It occurs to me that Kang has been clinically depressed since his father died and he had to give up his Everest. Look at him at that festival. He might as well be a robot. That's the way he acted back home until Moo came along. He got through each day but each day had no meaning or reason to be a new day. Does he feel guilty in his father's death because his father went out that night to buy him the tablet? Has he been trying to atone since then, afraid to fight for his own happiness, sure that he doesn't deserve it? I'm trying to explain to myself how he could give up without a fight the only thing that has made him happy.

Kang is nowhere near selfish for wanting him to succeed even if it cost them their relationship. All that other stuff you said about moo “taking drugs” is so ridiculous its crazy hes like 18 or 19 in this show😭

I've only watched to the point where Moo and Tae rush out, but it should be dawning on Jang that _the rule_ also has the potential of hurting the group's cohesion and authenticity. If it isn't, what's wrong with him? By the way, great job by Ashi in pasting on that fake smile for the promotional photos and video.. We should always be on the lookout for such fakeness in real life. I once had a boss who would paste on his smile to get agreement from employees and then let it collapse once he got it. I never believed in the authenticity of a single smile of his. OK, now I've finished this segment. We can see what's coming in the next segment. Moo is, in his way, so brilliant. Excellent idea, writers. I wonder what the company is going to think of him giving an unauthorized performance for no money? Like I care what the company in the story thinks at this point. Go for it, Moo! And we can hear he's going to say, "I wrote this song for _him_ ," not her. I'm still hoping that the fans will embrace Moo's honesty and support his happiness and the company will have no choice but to go along or suffer the consequences of a fan boycott or something like that, a demonstration outside their offices. (I think I've watched _Red, White and Royal Blue_ too often. 😉) I ask myself if GMMTV has a similar rule that says, "We decide who gets paired up at work [Jang and Yos, not Tae and Yos in the case of this story, for example] and we can't let those pairings be undermined by real-life pairings decided by the performers themselves." And, if they do, do they have the guts to question that rule in this, admittedly fictional, story? Of course, maybe they don't work it that way. "We pair you up on the screen, and we decide that. We don't control you outside of that, as long as you stay within the law, i.e. don't follow the example of Pawin." It would be nice to know. I am again restraining myself and watching one segment of an episode per day, so that I finish this episode in time to watch the first segment of the next episode of We Are the next day. We are in the dreaded Ep. 11 of this series, but I guess Ep. 10 was the cursed episode this time. I was hoping never to have to watch the break-up scene on the metro again, but we had the flashback here. It is as emotionally crushing as the break-up scene in Last Twilight thanks to the skill of the actors. I give credit to the director too, but if I were on the crew, I'd be blubbering all over the train platform and staircase watching them.
