Mesa's visit to Prince at the beginning was totally wasted. he knew they had a fight. if he really wanted to help them patch things up again all he had to do was admit to Prince it was all his idea to fake an illness.

The misunderstanding between Prince and Mesa was deliberate on Prince's part. He actually has quite a bit of a sly personality. Very cunning at avoiding topics that he isn't comfortable with discussing, but still somehow is politely able to addressing them indirectly so that the person gets the message without getting offended(except for Fah of course. He's much more direct with him). It makes him very intriguing to me. Their(Prince and Mesa's) whole conversation was color coded with a strong hint for Mesa to "mind your own business". Prince was able to do this without causing any tension between them, with Mesa being quick to pick up the hint that Prince wasn't up for discussing the situation with him.
