I think Jin mi is the daughter of floral and water immortals and the heavenly emperor probably had a one sided love for the floral immortal but was rejected cause she loved the water one.

Your correct! It was from the start Jin Mi was the Floral Immortal's daughter but since she died right after the Water Immortal didn't know because he was getting married during the birth.

No the other way around....floral loved the emperor but he didnt want her....why would floral put live restrictions pill in her own daughter to not fall in love ever cuz she was betrayed but him

I feel so sorry for Run Yu with this evil stepmother. He is always so sweet and kind. I know what happens later as I have watched this before but we get to see what has been happening to him all along due to this evil woman. She plays the wicked stepmother so well.

RIGHT! Many people criticize Runyu but seem to forget that, since his childhood, everything has been done to destroy him physically and mentally. This poor Night Immortal has never received love from anyone. He is the most unhappy character in this drama.

As a parent, this drama gives me a lot of insights about Jin Mi's situation. Personally, I have done my kids a lot of wrongs without intending to hurt them. Truly, there were times that I've known the probable consequences of my actions, but at the same time, I was torn between difficult choices that I only have to choose whatever will cause them lesser pains regardless of how cruel the means may be. I've read a number of comments saying that giving Jin Mi the elixir is cruel. I agree, but from a parent's point of view, I understand that the mother meant well. The same is true to many parents, I guess. Sadly, many times, what we think is best, what is nurturing to our kids, are the very poisons that will destroy them. Ironic! But what parent has got the manual or human/character description of a child when given to him/her? We can only do our best in accordance to our good intentions.

Technically not their daughter!!!!… Her mother was the flower goddess not wind. So she’s technically water’s daughter but with his first love not his wife. That’s why no one knows who she is because flower goddess made the floral clan keep it a secret before she died.

The episode before this was good. I guess i felt weird when xufeng was sent away, knowing his love was pure. Do they know probably that they're are the ones causing this "heartbreak" by preventing a prophecy? Also The flower goddesses are getting on my nerves, the demon princess was right when she said that she was disappointed with their manners and how they held grudges. Ahhhh. I guess the actress who played jinmi is good, i get annoyed by her naivete. I started watching this series bec i kept seeing snippets when jinmi was from a healer tribe (she was tolerable bec at least she was less naive) and he was a crown prince, didnt know they have a long backstory. I love the chemistry but there's something annoying and dragging with their circumstances.. also, it reminds me of Sleeping Beauty..the more they try to prevent a "prophecy", the more they fail at it.
