+NOOBster Well, Mariah possessed 7-octave-range and went into Guiness Book of Records in 2003 for hitting the highest note in the history of recorded music, so it's kinda unfair comparing Taeyeon and Mariah hahaha xD If you can sing Mariah Carey song like she did, I think basically you can sing anything.

Erepyon, well if you state it like that, DaviGames basically made a fool out of himself or did that on purpose to signify the difficulty of Taeyeon's songs.

The way Taeyeon pronounce 'girl' in Gee made you immediately recognize that's her. Lol

I think that there's a really important message in this show; that there's a really lot of great singers out there, and you have to be in the right place at the right moment to get your chance to shine on stage. Every one of these women fooled a large percentage of the audience. So unless you know that you needed to examine it carefully, no one would ever know that there was a different singer with SNSD. And I think every professional singer knows that right around the corner, there's someone who could take their place. Even me, I thought Taeyeon's voice was unique; I was wrong, too, all this time there was a girl singing behind a locked door somewhere in Korea who sounds exactly like her. And four more that are oh my god so very, very close. Now, I wonder if there's a singer out there that sounds like Bada.......

Well if you listen closely, Taeyeon has this small distinct tone which makes her stand out from the others. Saying they sound exactly like her is false because they all sounded different to me. Unless of course you have bad hearing.

Diane Contreras If you can tell them apart, you're one of the few who can hear the difference, Seo, Tiff and Yuri could, but they hear her speaking every day, and up close. Even Hyoyeon was fooled routinely, as were lots of professional singers in the audience. My point was that they're all so good that they are GOOD ENOUGH to sing professionally, they just weren't women who were in the right place, at the right time, to be picked by a recording company. Remember, you don't need to have a great voice to be a professional. You just have to be 'good enough'. As an example, Britney, Arianna, Demi are NOT great singers, wheras Stephanie Germanotta, aka 'Lady GAGA', is. But 99.9% of the time, pop music doesn't require a great voice. That said, one of the shames of the video music era is that women with great voices cannot get recording contracts unless they're beautiful as well.

Beautiful? OH MY GOD YES. I fell for the girl in the white 'Genie' outfit the first time I saw her. But then again, I love slim girls with long straight hair, no matter where they're from. Round 2 was a ringer because they had her singing someone else's lines. I think the show decided not to do this type of thing anymore because of this problem. Then again; the winning contestant was really, really good. I still can't find her youtube channel, I'd like to hear the rest of her singing. If you know, let me know too. Thx.

To be honest I thought it unfair and very leading - if not almost cheating - to pic as a second song an SNSD song and kinda annoyed me too. It was like they wanted to stretch the chance to eliminated her to the most. But... the ending was pretty and I am ready glad she did because that girl deserved to have that reassuring experience.

Now that I know Taeyeon's voice better this was much easier. I do agree that some of them sounded like Seohyun. They were all very close but I give the audience the benefit of the doubt as they only heard them once. If I were them I might be like Hyoyeon. "5 and 6" "Wait like 4, 5, and 6. all good"

Mình không hiểu mấy người đó hâm mộ kiểu gì.Giong tae vang lên từ phòng 5 là mình biết ngay rồi.Những người còn lại chỉ cố hát theo phong cách của Taeyeon thôi và mình thấy giọng Tae control tốt và mượt hơn hẳn mà.Thật ra cũng hơi khó khăn vì giọng tae không phải kiểu giọng độc như Bom chẳng hạn và rõ ràng cũng không nổi tiếng vì điều đó.Khả năng control và thể hiển tốt cảm xúc mới là điểm nổi bật.
