It’s so refreshing to see his actual personality. I remember back in the early days of his idol career, lee joon and Gikwang from beast were assigned the persona of the dumb hot guy. It’s wild that companies used to assign idols personalities. It must’ve been so uncomfortable to not be able to act like yourself

'used to'? what makes you think it's no longer happening?...idols obviously won't admit having fake personality until after their prime for most parts(maybe except for Park Gyuri who acted out her assigned personality while cooly implying it's fake but nobody took her words or personality seriously anyway)
