I have probably watched hundreds of k-dramas (in the last couple of years), and Captivating the King is at the VERY TOP of my list. His character was so dynamic, and the raw emotion was so beautifully expressed. I am currently watching Jealousy Incarnate. This man has me OBSESSED!!! 저는 아마 지난 몇 년간 수백 편의 한국 드라마를 본 적이 있을 것이고, '왕을 사로잡다'는 제 목록의 가장 상위에 있어요. 그의 캐릭터는 매우 역동적이었고, 원초적인 감정은 매우 아름답게 표현되었어요. 저는 현재 '질투의 화신'을 보고 있어요. 이 남자는 저를 집착하게 만들어요!!!

Loved watching Captivating the King and look forward to a possible second season. Please, forgive me for saying the plot lends itself at least another adventure for the growing number of its adoring, but captivated audience. The plot only can thicken through the eyes of those that surround the king and answer why or why not the love of his one and only can only be admired from a safe distance. After all, kings may have power, but that power in limited by those that surround him. Seeing the transformation in the relationship between the king and his woman, and how they cope within the palace walls with all eyes either approving or not should be interesting.
