This is how a good team is formed, you can't just bottle up your feelings just to avoid hurting others self esteem, that just makes the situation worse. I am happy that heeseung decided to let K know what the members felt and K accepted what they were trying to say even if he was hurt.

Sunghoon is really their spine. He's quiet at times but he knows when to speak and comfort. He was there for Heeseung and silently comforting K at his side. He's the balance of all their personalities and i think thats beautiful.

I think because he used to on national team. He has a better understanding of the cruel reality out there

noticed that its not just K who cried, but others also tried to hold their tears. that shows how close their friendship is. if heeseung doesnt feel comfortable with K, he wouldnt choose K to be in his team at first place. heeseung knows he need someone like K on stage. everyone have their own flaws thats the reason a team is formed. no one perfect. even a big group like bts had their little arguement. thats what help them bcome solid. im just glad the youngest help K to loosen up himself a bit.

NOOO, Heeseung has a good friendship with K , and also K to Heeseung, Heeseung just wanted to teach K to take into account the opinion of others, because K was not aware of that, and that is why K began to cry for giving them a bad time and apologized and the others almost got too cry next to K on the couch. They are good friends, with what happened, K learned to take into account the opinion of others and reinforced the friendship he has with the boys.

in previous iv with bts, they even get into fist fight because sometimes things didn't work out thru talking and after that everything is okay as bang pd monitor them saying its okay to fight because in the end they will be more bonded to each other . something like that😊

This is a natural thing in my opinion, Heeseung and the others are doing the right thing, if they don't talk about it it might get worse because they have pending problems, Heeseung was doing something like that in Iland Part1 and he tried to be better, so for k this is a new lesson for how to better understand other people's opinions, its okay k and its okay heeseung FIGHTING!!! k heeseung sunghoon jake jungwon... you guys did a great job👏

052 - Hurin Hanani yes. They really communicated in a respectful, understanding and loving way. Aiming for accepting feelings and then problem solving. Beautiful relationships are build in these concepts. And K openly being able to show his sadness and probably remorse for making them feel bad, ( he really adores all of them) shows how comfortable he feels with them too. This is such a great life lesson for all

I totally agree with you, I'm really happy that they were able to say everything and fix the problems. And of course K when he realized all of that he felt bad so he cry but in the end everyone were able to do a great job together and the perfomance was crazy I loved

i don’t think K is doing this “persona” on purpose. you can tell he genuinely loves performing and being with the other i landers. i think he doesn’t know how to handle stress and he just wants to do his best for him and his teammates. he feels like he needs to lead them. he’s a good guy, he just needs to realize that it’s okay to not be perfect, and that letting others help you will only make you better overall. with this conversation they had, even though it was tough, i think K will grow as a person. i hope he debuts

Absolutely agree! I also think that, as the oldest, he feels a lot of pressure to always be strong, reliable, and put together. The younger trainees look up to him and he puts a lot of pressure on himself to be perfect. However, in doing so, he comes across as intimidating because he doesn't want to be seen as weak. Its unfortunate because i bet K has a lot of stress but no one to go to about it. Hopefully he can be more vulnerable with his members now.

@@microspace2157 k was strict, he told them all of his opinion and the members were scared to said "no" abt it . (they want to learn vocal, but k pushed them to learn the dance, 'cause they've no time to learn the vocal and being scolded by the couch) finally they told everything abt wht they felt when k was leading them . jungwon said whenever he want to share his opinion, he was scared bcz k is the oldest and strict . the moment whn they told everything to k, k left the room and cried . he said "im sorry" "i love y'all" "im sorry" he said dis bcz he just realised dat he was the only one dat enjoying the practise since the 1st day , the others weren't . he didn't try and want to hurt them, he was so sorry bcz of dat .

I asked my Korean students what they think about K's personality in I-Land. They said, they kind of pissed of. In a Korean point of view, they said K can be bullied by Knetz if he continues to be like that.

It's actually brave of heesung to go and talk with k like this. As he said k is older than him it can be quite scary and awkward for him as they kind of had an argument in the 1st episode too.I am really proud of them for talking it out and k being open to others...Fighting!!

i really feel bad how ppl are not fully understanding K and his potentialities , he just wants a perfect performance for his team don’t make him bad. For the new mission they were divided into 2 teams. Heesung could choose the song and teammates because he came first place in the episode before. Heeseung and K were in one team and when they practiced and divided parts k was very intimidating and the others were scared to tell him what they were thinking because k were the oldest among them. After a while heeseung and the others told k what they are feeling and k cried because he didn’t wanted to hurt them and love all the members.

I don’t think K quite realized that they were scared to talk to him. He’s Japanese and I don’t think they have a strict age hierarchy like they do in Korea. I think after they told him, he just felt really bad that they felt that way. Also, he’s been dancing the longest and that’s what he’s good at. He’s a perfectionist who wants what’s best for his team but doesn’t realize he’s being a little controlling.

honestly? i hate that he cried but i think he needed it. he was too pressured to do well and perfect their stage, it's actually good that he let out his frustrations. & im glad they talked to him instead of being passive all throughout and leaving him clueless. K is very transparent. he is also mature enough to acknowledge his mistakes. he's such a perfectionist that sometimes he overdoes it to do well. i can't imagine how hard he is on himself. i really hope he doesn't push himself too hard... it's happened before during i&credible, when he got sick but still practiced and performed as if his life depended on it. i really hope he takes utmost care of himself like how he takes care of the kids. K, no matter what, i got your back. i'll always be proud of you.

I really want this kind of talk. I love how they handled this. I think K needed to have this talk for his growth! I think he was having a hard time and wasn’t sharing with anyone and thus broke down into tears. K is really trying hard like everyone else. He has a lot of worries, so obviously I hardly saw his face smiling. I am very sorry. I think this cry may have been due to his accumulation. He also feels very sad that his favorite people think about them ... In this case, he may even be angry with himself. I’m glad the other members confronted and explained to K how they felt instead of sucking it up and going with the flow. It’s not that K doesn’t want to hear opinions, the others just didn’t have the courage to tell him. To everyone saying that he’s arrogant or whatever negative stuff, K APOLOGIZED when he realized his mistakes. I think this was a learning moment for him and he can definitely change his attitude, so please don’t discriminate against him for this 🥺✨

I’m rlly glad that I-landers decided to be upfront instead of talking behind his back. I applaud them for this. K looks very vulnerable and stressed out here. I’m happy he saw past his mistakes.

Honestly seeing him the way he was in the last couple episode it was just a matter of time before he bursted into tears or became overly sensitive. Being a perfectionist he probably noticed that something was off but couldn't let himself go even a little, in the end he was the hardest with himself than with the others. He doesn't forgive himself that easily for not meeting his own expectations, and the ones he thinks the others have of him.

K, He did it well, but he cried a lot and he apologized many times, I am very proud of him😭😭😭

Heeseung knows what K's feeling because he always feel it specially in episode 2 and they are lucky because heeseung is always there when they are crying, comforting and giving them advice it's just sad that going back at episode 2 there is no one who comforted heeseung and he end up enduring the pain alone. @@raynatumbeva780 True, both Heeseung and K have had the most pressure from day one and it has been three months for them, but as Sunghoon said 'It feels like 6 months' so the psychological damages are starting to show for all of them. I thinK K really needed to just cry it out a bit, from what I gather he hasn't been unloading much of his emotions with anyone.

Yes this is the comment ive been looking for, like really heeseung has a pure heart he doesnt hold grudge. He literally console k even if he is hurt by him. Im hating everyone who is saying that what heeseung and k experiencing is the same, its not the same heeseung have no one, and they talked behind his back and belittle his ability while in here they are just confessing what they feel about k who doesn't open up his mind for other's opinion

I hate seeing people hating over K. He is so talented and he wants every tiny detail to be perfect. This is something we would want to see in a lead dancer. We see this kind of passion in J-Hope too. You know other members (jokingly) talk about how scary he is when someone makes a mistake or he would be the first one to realize the mistake. They say that not because they hate him. They know he wants them to do the best they can. I think that’s all that matters. I love Flicker team but editors made me so angry. He is such a nice and talented guy but all they show us is how he scares others! I hope you consider voting for K. We need him in the team as much as we need Heeseung, Sunghoon, Jake and Jungwon.

*I also wanted to have fun in practicing* when K said that it breaks my heart. He is super strict to himself that he almost forgot to have fun. seeing k cry is heartbreaking but i think its a good thing that they talked about it before they perform, overcoming this made their teamwork even better which resulted to an amazing performance. This team proved how matured they are. Finally, someone had the courage to confront K and I admire Heeseung for doing that. I also liked how K realized his own mistake. This team should debut because can handle these types of matter.

Everyone please don’t hate K. He is such a talented person just like Bang pd said he is already a pro who is ready to make his debut. And i think Heeseung and him are just having a hard time adjusting because they are used to being the leader of each team, they have a different leadership strategy. But what Heeseung and the other ilanders was right. It is only right that they open up to K for their concerns and they do not speak behind K. That’s good for K to be aware of how his other comrades feel. They say that they have high respect because he is the oldest of them. And i think K is like that because he is also very pressured that they need to be good because everyone has high expectations of them especially they are all top ilanders. We can see here that he is a responsible and very kind older brother to those who are younger than him. So i understood K when he just cried when Heeseung and the other said their problem with him. All he wanted was for their group to be the best. He is my bias but i must admit he is also wrong. I hope K also learns that we also need to accept the opinion of others for the strength of the group. I know this comment is too long but i hope you don’t forget to vote for K. He is in danger of voting the last list of rankings is he is in rank 9 which is dangerous. Everyone let’s not lost this very talented person like K.

Same! I relate to K so much, it’s unreal. I’ve been in this exact same position as him and what I want to say is that people like K aren’t doing this on purpose. They don’t even understand their friends are getting scared or intimidated because of their intensity. Hearing that from his teammates is hard for him too. That’s why it’s important to talk it out. K apologised and they all came up with a solution. So those who are still hating on him for this need to look at things from his perspective too and just be kind. Also on a lighter note, this is why I’d never join a survival show- I also see a lot of myself in K, and he was like the most hated on iland contestant😭 Anyway, he’s debuting soon, so let’s all of us who love K support him :)))

K is focused to win for the team. He often gets misunderstood because of the pressure that comes along with his age (being 23, older than most trainees), but he’ll make a great asset to the final team. Imagine having lesser chances of going global just because of your age. The pressure is there; he’s so focused he sometimes forgets the social impact of his decisions. If he does not debut this year, he might not be able to debut anymore since people would prefer the younger trainees who have the same skills as his. So please vote for K. See you K!

He intentionally gave the least line to Heesung in the name of he being "always the one doing part one". Heesung also said that K told him he is lacking so much and that he is inferior to him. You also saw how K scolded the shit out of NIKI by calling him selfish but he is ultra selfish + egotistic who took the part2 that Heesung also wanted to do and could not even accept his own wrong doings when the other team members corrected the choreography. He led the group but when the vocal teacher asked who is leading, he pointed to Heesung and threw it all on him and you can clearly see that Heesung was also shocked by it. You also saw how he mocked Heesung's dancing ability in episode 1 of part 1. I wouldn't want to see him in the debut group of this show honestly.

This is a survival show not being a good trainee show. When K give part to the others he did ask are u okay with that He did change when the members say that they are not having fun when practice. He said he want to be fun too.

BTS members are right when they said that heeseung has the leadership skills. He composed his self and take a lot of courage to talk it with K and other members before they perform. You did a great job guys.

it’s honestly disappointing how a lot of ppl are misunderstanding and underestimating K’s position. as the eldest, he can be anyone’s comfort and shoulder to lean on but who will play that part for him? he shows a strong personality but he has feelings as well. he probably kept all his problems to himself and i bet he also felt stress and pressure during this time and just burst because he also felt guilty towards his team members. K is a perfectionist and everyone has their own ways of dealing things. K knows what’s best for the team so he thought what he was doing was okay but he was also in the wrong. But please do understand that he’s human too and he makes mistakes in which he can learn. i’m glad that they talked this out. members who go through this situations are actually compatible for a group already. I think K thought that it is his last chance as he is the oldest one, so he is really strict with himself and others too, but he should remember that he needs also remember to have fun with others and not forget that he does not have to always be perfect.

I think so too. Korean companies no longer accept 1997 borns, no matter how talented you are. He thinks that this show is his last chance. And he prefers to show his talents. If he were less nervous maybe we could see his bright personality sides. But he is still good too. BEST BOY K!!

I totally agree with you, I'm really happy that they were able to say everything and fix the problems. I personally feel that K is de oldest so he has a lot of pressure in him, be perfect, strong and Others things. It bothers me that people throw hate at him for mistakes that he make WE'RE HUMANS and we can also MAKE MISTAKES. At the end everyone were able to do a great job together and the perfomance was crazy I loved.

I think age also play a part here. We know how Korea is really strict with seniority and age difference. Out of all the I-Landers, K is the eldest of them all. So others being younger than K must have felt afraid to speak up because it could be seen as being rude to elders in some ways due to being younger than K

dont twist what happened. yes, K did a mistake but he acknowledged that and apologized for unintentionally making his members feel uncomfortable. it's obvious that he just wants what's best for the team, seeing as how he wanted the choreography polished. it just so happened that he overdid it and was stern to the others because that's how he is with himself when rehearsing. he didn't know what he was doing wrong, and im not justifying it, neither did he. it just made it clear that it was not intentional. yall acting as if K went gang gang and said oh wait lemme act like a jerk and intimidate them weewoo yeah bc that's how our team will win who in their right mind would intentionally think of jeopardizing their group when their survival on the show depended on it? no matter what, i'll stand by K

@@swetaami2516 Basically what happened is that K was making most of the decisions himself and the boys felt too afraid to disagree with him, which led to tension among them and some mistakes. The boys finally got their thoughts together and spoke here with K saying that they are sometimes scared to confront him or say anything that opposes his opinion because he doesn't take it well and he is older, they really like him and they didn't want to get in to an argument, and that their goal is to have equal value basically in the team-everyones opinions matter. K didn't see that the boys were feeling this way and because he actually really cares about them ( He said himself 'I really like all of you' when he cried and 'I also wanted to have fun during practice with everyone and do well' ) he felt hurt and apologetic that he made them feel this way (he kept saying 'I'm so sorry') in the end everything seemed to be okay :) The boys really comforted him but also all agreed that this talk was needed.

I cried when I saw this😭 Flicker is debut material! Actually everyone in this team is my debut list, but in this episode we saw another side of heeseung and K Heeseung consider everyone and don't want others get hurt, I always think this is a good think but seeing this episode make me realize eventhough you dont want hurt other you should tell them if they're wrong. I like how heeseung finally tried to tell K even it will hurt him but he knows that is the best for K. K was hardworking and focus with what he do. He try the best for the team so when something isn't right he want to fix it. But something that he doesn't consider is being in a team you should consider other too, I know he wants the best for the team but hearing their opinion is crucial too for teamwork. Im happy that finally heeseung stood up and tell K that something wrong. Im so proud too see how they grow up and solve the team problem And look how precious the moment when K cried then heeseung, sunghoon, jake came to him! Maybe it's the reason it called chemistry test?

I really don't know why he's portrayed so badly in the show. He's actually nice and caring. He makes sure to help others in their tasks. He's also a goofball. It just so happens that he's serious and strict when it comes to rehearsing, which is actually needed by idols in the industry. He just needs to tone it down a little because he can be too serious at times, but it actually shows the discipline he has to accomplish tasks efficiently. Effective leaders should know when to be strict, and they should never be passive. They are responsible for their team, so they should be able to stand up for them. I think he's strict because he wants the best from each of his members, it's so far from being selfish. He's straightforward that you have to get to the point for him to get it. I felt so bad when they talked to him and he said "I don't understand." You can tell he really didn't know what was happening. Nonetheless, I think that talk was really needed. I just wish they talked to him sooner. But I understand that it wasn't easy. Anyway, he was so mature to acknowledge his mistake. He didn't even make excuses to justify himself. He just really didn't know that his way of working made the others uncomfortable. You can see that he felt so bad that he didn't know he was affecting them like that. He even apologized. I really hope people won't turn a blind eye on his caring personality and great talents just because of how he was portrayed in the show.

he must've felt that he let his team down. he looked so frustrated at himself for not showing them that they could talk to him. he has that mindset of doing what is best for the team that he didn't notice he was overdoing it. i hope he wont be too hard on himself.

K is not that bad for some of you to start hating. He cried but he owned his mistakes and said sorry. That's a mature person. What Heesung did is good. A group must be open to each other. Good communication means good teamwork and it gives good results in the end.

I see Jake and Sunghoon holding back their tears or crying. And I think bc they see K as an impt hyung who supports them. K helped Jake for Flicker performance and K recognized Sunghoon and voted for him for the representative test. K also saved Jungwon from being sent to ground. Heeseung looks up to K. 1. K is a good dance teacher and Heeseung is a good leader. Jay also does good but sometimes he has a lot of pride and ego soo umm... 2. Heeseung has a better understanding of how to proceed with breaking down a song or performance while K focus mostly on dancing so he loses balance 3. I like Heeseung the most and I feel for him when he feels uncomfortable around K in some aspect but K is not a bad person. Everyone grows, u r bad when u know that u r doing wrong and u think u r right and keep doing it. Jake deserves the benefit 110% I was also annoyed by K at some point but that's just natural, that doesn't give people the right to be so rude in the comment section during the live stream. Hope he overcomes this and prove them wrong.

I understand how desperate K is. He's the oldest one, been training and wanted everything to be perfect. Everything is new to him, and the results of every performances disappoint him, knowing that he always give his best, yet still having a low score. He cried not because he felt bad for what they say to him, but he cried because of the disappointment he felt the whole time being in there, he cried because he felt sorry for others for the way he acts around them, and he cried because he love them all yet that's what they think about him. He's sorry for everything. And I'm glad that the members decided to talk to him to straight things out. You can see that they were hurt as well, seeing them cry, especially Jake and Sunghoon. And honestly speaking, I'm seeing them as the final group who will be debuting, well and additional 2 members of course.

좋은 리더가 되긴 쉽지 않지 케이도 힘들었을거고 다들 데뷔가 걸린 문제인데 예민해져있고 무대의 퀄리티를 최상으로 올려야 하는 상황에서 리더의 역할은 더 무거운 법이니까 이건 누구의 잘못도 아니라고 생각해 저 상황이 그런거지 케이가 잘못된게 아니야 만약 케이가 이 댓글을 볼진 모르겠지만 보게 된다면 다른 댓글들에 상처 받지 않았으면 좋겠어... 다들 너무 야박하다ㅠ

Heeseung really did a great job he always open it up with others like in this situation so K know that they have to communicate each other but don't hate K guys he's really just trying also to give his opinion to his team.

Isn't it exactly the same situation as the first mission? Everyone had complaint in Heeseung's leading. Youngbin even cried. K was saying "isn't it supposed to be fun? Why does it feel like someone is pressuring us?" They gathered all together to talk to Heeseung about his leading because they found their teamwork didn't have balance. Exactly the same situation, but why is the editing different? The thing that makes me more uncomfortable about this situatiom is the fact, that Mnet fabricated K's reaction in Ep 7 & 8. Him giving a look at Niki's adlib in front of Mr. Son, was fabricated. His hairstyle was different from before & after Niki's dance. If we look at I-Land CAM, K & Niki were playing around & helping not their teammates but other I-Landers too. Aren't we just too influenced by the storyline Mnet's writer is pushing on us?

It is the fact, that exactly the same thing happened in the first ep but the editing is quite different. People talked about Heeseung'a leading between each other. They said it is not fun too. They said they don't have balance. The mood was going down & down too. All gathered together to express their feelings. And the thing that makes me uncomfortable is the fact that Mnet fabricated his reaction in the last 2 ep. Whether he is good or not, shouldn't Mnet show the exact situation? Not put clips from different situations together. I just find we are seeing these people through the Mnet lense too much. Our reaction is heavily influenced by Mnet Editing. The same things happen, but with good bgm "oh, it is fine" & with dramatic bgm & editing "oh, it is awful".

@@hebaal-majali7159 I find it fine if there is problem. But I don't find it okay them only pushing, showing & exaggrating only that part. Niki has been cheerful & goofing around from the first episode. They didn't show it. And suddenly they showed only on ep 7, which actually didn't leave good impression on some audience. Because it felt like he is suddenly happy. Niki was teaching not just DNA team but others from Fake Love Team along with K. But they just push this "selfish kid, who don't care teamwork". Niki & K was playing around with each other. No footage of it. K has been supporting brother to I-Landers. But it is always shown out of the camera focus. And the camera focus is on these Korean trainees. And then fabricating their reaction, that is not okay. But also you are right! These personal stuffs should be personal. Imagine if BTS' pre-debut training was shown on Mnet. Everyone would be selfish people, who don't care others.

@@timomira6162 And people in the comments keep saying that K didn't give them the chance to share their opinions but heesung said that they just afraid of him and I think K will experience the same as Suga that if they aren't smiling people will think that they're cold people or rude but it's just their faces expressions. Well, he is having tough time: when everybody else have problems they had his shoulder, he genuinely helps the boys, Taki wasn't even in his team, but he taught him, also i saw a cam where he taught Hanbin, in 9 ep he helped Jake, but when it comes to him, he has no one to rely on, as he is the oldest member. Everyone has their limits. He obviously was concerned about global votings to the point he new he has lower rank compared to 4 Flickers off course he wanted to make every move to be smooth and perfect. He did nothing wrong, its boys who did not have the courage to tell him their opinion. K thought he was right he did not even know that boys are uncomfortable to approach to eldest hyung as all of them are koreans and they stick to age hierarchy. Maybe Japanese mentality is different. I m glad they solved everything amicably. All of them are so kind and smart and caring. What i wanted to say is K has a good personality he can admit and accept criticism. Even when he is straightforward he doesn't mean harm, it's just what he is. He scolded Niki, but at the end he went to the bathroom to comfort him, then he approached him in the bedroom, lied near Niki to show he is not angry but willing to lead the team for Win. The amount of pressure is incredible and K has his limits that's why he cried. Honestly never have i ever thought that such a strong person would cry and show his weak side. Lets show him some love guys on official social media so he will know he is doing great.

No... I don't think K cried bc he felt hurt, but rather bc he didn't know what he did made his friends feel different way and he didn't want it that way... He feels burden in some way after the others told him😢

This boy honestly needs to debut, I need to see him debut. His talent is not a joke and each time he keeps outdoing himself. His compassion and leadership is just another part of who Heeseung is but all the more, he is just too passionate in doing this. Respect!! ✊🏻

I can feel that all this while K is under pressure (all of them did) but K is the oldest in the iland and doesnt have a same age friend to talk with yeah you know its a bit comfortable when you talk with someone same age like you and yeah since hes the oldest he need to be strong Im glad that heeseung and others open up to him like this and k start to open up too like he said he also want to have fun while practicing/performing(?) and we can see here he let out what burdens inside him :”)) ANYWAY VOTE FOR K HE DOESNT DESERVE ALL THE HATES

I really love the way heesung approach others n trying to say it at the best way. The way he express it representing others really shows his matured move. I adore him so much tht way

I am glad he came forward and resolved the differences between him and K!

Sometimes you need to listen to other's perspective so it can buld a strong foundation of friendship. K, learned his lesson. Fighting K!

i remembered what jhope said. he first thought that bts won't harmonize as a team because their attitude is very different from each other. it's normal to have misunderstandings but it just depends on how it will affect their teamwork. you did great flicker team!

my heart is very sad when I see this. I know K is a strict, perfectionist, and wants to do his best. maybe people saw him so stubborn and scary so other team members didn't dare to speak up. but he realized it and wanted to learn from his mistakes to be better. believe me, he's not a selfish person, he just wants the best for the team. Keiys is a small fandom, but we will do our best so K can make his dream come true 💚💚
