I'm an artist, I think Yoohyeon actually has a natural eye for composition. That is, she prepared the landscape in such a way to use the space to her advantage. She also was decent at balancing colors, even though it was a bit vivid. I think what threw her off was technique. She knew what she wanted to do, but didn't know how to do it. I say this because she's obviously thinking about depth when making her mountains and sky, but when it came to the foreground she was unsure how to blend it naturally. For Jiu she was inspired by the gallery beforehand and just went in with feeling. She limited herself to a color scheme which probably saved her some time, but also demonstrated her blending skills. She was going for more of a texture abstract instead of realism, which I think was what made her win in the end. I think she definitely showed more technique, given she'd painted before. The way she layered her painting showed me that she knew how to work backwards. Too bad they only had 30 minutes. The funny thing is that I think their painting approaches actually reflects who they are as people. Jiu is instinctual, goes with the flow, and is up for improvisation, while Yoohyeon had to plan things out and stick with it. Both are good habits to have in art, to be honest, and I think the two of them actually have a knack for it.

[#CECI] First, I want to thank CéCi for the wonderful opportunity they gave to JiU and Yoohyeon: being able to enjoy the beautiful country of Thailand. I've been enjoying the videos about the girls' amazing time there and am excited to see how the photobook portrays Thailand's and Dreamcatcher's beauty. I will definitely be buying a copy! (Or two... Or three...) There are so many Insomnia, and I know I'm one of many who would love a present from JiU or Yoohyeon. All I can say is that I love Dreamcatcher so much because before them, I had no passion for music. However, thanks to Dreamcatcher, I was finally able to love music. It was the first time it could make me smile, laugh, and even cry. Through their music, I was able to see more love in the world. It's my hobby loaded with love! Dreamcatcher made a difference in my life not only through their music, but also through the love they are constantly showing Insomnia. I would love to receive JiU and Yoohyeon's love through their gorgeous paintings. In fact, so much love was put into it that it caused Yoohyeon forget what 99-77 was 😂It would mean the world to me to receive their precious masterpieces so that I can wake up to it every morning and be reminded that there is a lot of love in the world. Also, the daytime landscape painting would look great next to the night acrylic painting I made! I also appreciate CéCi for the content you create. Through your work, our favorite idols are able to be happy and heal themselves in beautiful places with relaxing activities. We also can learn more about our idols! I wish for your success and will continue supporting! Thank you again, CéCi, for your hard work and this opportunity. Thank you, Dreamcatcher, for all that you do. I look forward to Dreamcatcher's comeback and CéCi's projects. I hope you stay healthy and happy. I will support you always! P.S. Did JiU ever win her golden elephant??? 😂 P.P.S. Jiu is wife material. She is seriously one of the most beautiful idols out there. She gives that mature yet youthful vibes. Criminally underrated 😢 if she were from a big company, she would be in so many commercials...

They really were born to artists. Their work turned out so amazing. Great job, JiU, Yoohyeon, and teacher! 👏

#CECI This was such a fun video!! I really cannot wait to see what they're going to do next. It was more than interesting to see them paint in this setting, they both are people who will try anything that seems interesting to them and to be honest, this is very fun and cool to watch. Not everyone can have the patience to paint even if it's not coming out to be exactly like the picture you want to recreate, but they have not only that but also the ability to concentrate while they're being asked very random questions!! So this was extremely fun. Finding out that both Jiu and Yoohyeon had done this with CECI was a surprise to many of us and seeing all the content that's going to come out from this is definitely exciting! I cannot wait to see what do Yoohyeon and Jiu do next, thank you for inviting them for this project! I'm sure our girls enjoyed it a lot 💚❤💚❤💚

I have always wanted to visit Thailand in the future, so I was really looking forward to it when I heard it was being filmed in Pattaya! I really enjoyed watching this episode, the unique content is really interesting, and I love seeing different sides of the members. I was really amazed at how good they are at painting, especially with the 30min time limit lol. I was excited to hear that you will be giving away the paintings, and as a huge fan of Dreamcatcher, it would be so amazing if I could hang one of their paintings up! I really love the meaning they both put behind it, especially with yoohyeon's painting because she really does have the biggest heart ☺ I also love the textured spin JiU put on hers, just looking at the different shades of purple gives me a great sense of peace. I don't really have any artwork in my room, and the walls are pretty empty haha, so having a piece of art that was made by someone that I love and look up to would be so meaningful :) Once again, thank you so much for always giving us amazing and unique content! 💛🧡

Jiu and Yoohyeon did a really great job on their paintings, despite this short amount of time that has been given and also all these distractions from the staff. Painting is definitely a great way to relieve some stress, so I'm glad they had this opportunity. Looks like they had a great time in Thailand.
