I am a stay and i have to admit that this performance was just beyond any levels. This isn't even a performance anymore, it's a story, it's an art, it's a masterpiece. From the song to the visuals and expressions, freaking goosebumps y'all. Never have I ever seen a performance which made me so awestruck. For some PG-13 context: *PERFUME* is an old movie based off of a book about a man who is OBSSESSED with women's scents, to the point he became a serial killer and started killing off women to extract their scents from their bodies. This theme is repeated ALL THROUGHOUT the performance, but here are my favorite key points where imo they showed it the best: 1:35 dancing with the women, until... 1:51 here is the mirror scene, 2:08 he leans in to smell her and kills her off then smells his wrist at 2:14 and 4:16 2:59 they're not getting his 'heart', they're getting his "perfume" 4:22 he drips liquid from a perfume bottle *So does literally no one from the show know about the movie "PERFUME" until now???* *I'M STILL NOT OVER HOW NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR CONCEPT, LIKE DID NO ONE EXPLAIN THEIR THEME AFTERWARDS UNTIL NOW?* Wasn't looking out for SF9 at first, but seriously this stage is too underappreciated. Their performance gave me *CHILLS* the moment I realized it was from that movie/book, and I was wondering about the broadcasting restriction the moment I realized the concept theme (but then towards the end I realized they didn't use anything gory so yeah)

Bro I’m still in disbelief on how they got 6th place out of this performance. Sure they didn’t have as many shenanigans as the other teams, but damn, the atmosphere, the stage composition, the colours, the camera work, the vocals, and the DAMN song rearrangement, beautiful, just immaculate. Even if they were “simpler” with the props, the vibe they created with this performance it’s just one of the best in the show.

I actually prefer simpler stages with less shenanigans. And like they used just the right amount of everything, SF9's performances are the ones I keep rewtaching. Like i personally (my opinion only) think The Boyz use too much in their choreography (props or wow moments) that in the end it's too much. SF9 keep it simple but gracious and elegant and mesmerizing

they don't need stage properties, because their face is the most expensive property ever. the song arrangement was so good. i wanna see zuho more

Hi im not a fan but can i ask why their stage seemed underbudget compared to others?

Obviously SF9 is one of the groups that weren't informed by Msnake that the stage budget can exceed 5M won but they did so so well despite the small budget. I'm so proud of them👏👏👏

@@morenamontes9504 each group was supposed to have a budget of 5 million won for their set pieces but only three groups were informed of this by mn3t, which is why some of the set pieces for different groups are grander than others...not that any group in this competition needs massive sets, each one could perform on a dirt track and make it look like a massive theatrical performance

I’m not even an SF9 fan but it’s heartbreaking knowing that they weren’t on top 3. Each and every performance of theirs was truly OUTSTANDING. Kudos to them for their legendary performance throughout the show.

being as unbiased as possible, this was just such a clean well put together performance. every element came together to form a really truly structured bigger picture. the visual symbolism were aids to the overarching arc and not substitutes for it. The performance was fantastic. vocally, they killed this. this was so so so impressive and i am so proud of them

For Real. I enjoyed watching this show purely for their performances but gets disappointed everytime the ranking comes out. Not just sf9 but the performances that deserves a higher rank each time.

*spoiler* This performance gave SF9 6th place with 0 votes from none of the groups. Inseong then did an interview after finding out the results and he mentioned how embarrassed he was because the MC announced it in front of other groups and telling them they received 0 votes. My heart hurts for SF9, if you compare this stage (and IKon's stage), it definitely seems budgeted. MNet claims that they allocated a fair amount of budget to each group, but it doesn't seem like it? Jealous is such an iconic song that made SF9 somewhat even more known to international fans. I am so sorry SF9 that you got the last place when you deserve a much better placing. (Not bashing those groups that won the top 3, don't worry, they deserve that place too.)

i think this performance is so amazing that it doesn't need anymore props, just the way they utilised the mirrors and scarves was amazing, and the expert evaluation was favourable for them because they recognised how complete the performance is just the way it is, but the group voting messed that up. i think sf9 showed that you don't need a lot of props or acrobatics, you can put the focus on the actual performers and atmosphere and make an amazing stage that way, it's a pity the other groups didn't vote for that

와 이거 6등이라는게 충격적이다... 다른 무대들은 뮤지컬보고 있는 느낌이라면 이 무대는 영화보고 있는 느낌이랄까 비교하기는 싫지만 이 무대는 진짜 SF9의 느낌이 너무 와닿은 무대였음 다른 팀들은 표현 못 할 그런 잔잔한 아우라가 있는 거 같아,,, 거울 활용한 것도 되게 멋있고 계속 향수통같은 거 들고 나오는 데 영화 오마주 같기도 하고 진짜 너무 진짜 잔잔섹시의 느낌이 너무 많이 드는 거 같아서 좋음. 아직 3팀밖에 안보고 와서 잘 모르겠지만 웅장하고 거대한 느낌의 무대들 사이에서 자신들의 매력을 잔잔하게 흘리는 무대라 넋놓고 봤다 다음무대가 너무 기대된다

SF9 not just giving as superb music but literally ART. It was SF9 that gives so much flavor in Kingdom. I hated how ranking works here but I'm still thankful that SF9 was in here. They were able show the versality of the group thru this show. This is the definition of They are more than just a pretty face.

For new fans, the name of the song is Now or Never but us intl fans have always called it jealous cause we didn't know any better. Also, this stage is so beautiful. The boys are putting in so much work to get new fans and to make us older ones happy. Please start streaming them!

they embraced the misheard word on one of their songs and executed it cleverly😩 they turned the song about attraction into a person being jealous of someone because he/she is better✊🏻😩 AND THE PERSON WHO SLAPPED SOMEONE BECAUSE HE ENVY HIM AND THE ELECTRIC GUITAR RIGHT ALMOST AT THE END💝 THEY WOKE ME UP, AND CALLED ME UNTALENTED AND UNINTELLIGENT!!

They changed the definition of "Now or Never" we knew.

The fact that they had only dancers, some mirrors and sitting set. You can tell the discrimination is real. Its literally music shows set but they nailed it more than some groups. Not to mention the remix was so so good, usually you will get better og version than the remix. When i read them being last place, i feel sorry. They deserve much better than that, they serve maximum stage with that minimum treatment. Also how they portray the song so well, like i understand what will jealousy looks feels and sounds like; extravagant, powerful, beautiful, sultry but quietly killing. I hope they get tons of new fans, just like me.

개인적으로 이거 진짜 잘했는데.. 오페라의 유령같은 컨셉이라서 더 좋았고, 마지막 빵 터질때 웅장한곡으로 편곡한것도 좋았고 ... 이거 3등안에는 들어야하는 무대였음...

킹덤 아이돌이랑은 상관없는 타팬이지만 순위에 상관없이 슾구 매력을 뽑아내서 보여주는 무대이기에 이런 쪽으로 의미 둬도 될 듯.. 어차피 무대는 남고 순위는 사라짐 아무도 순위 갖고 가수 급 못매김... 걍 인기투표인거 알아서

Sf9 is underrated. They’re classy and their moves are fluid. They don’t need extreme choreo or extravagant stage. They’re extravagant without even trying.

This is the result of their hardwork. Even when they're busy they made this performance looks so expensive and seamless. Yes SF9 did that please support them. DONT SLEEP ON THEM THEY'RE NOT BEDS PLEASE.

After watching this again it breaks my heart knowing they got last. I'm a stay always but I still love other groups. And SF9 not only made this absolutely beautiful but sounded amazing. I don't know how they got last

YooTaeyang is by far the best dancer in this competition. I say this as an iKONIC and Stay and a dancer myself. Credit where credit is due.

I love how all the bands are always complimenting each other and giving each other feedback throughout the performances, it is so wholesome❤️❤️❤️

I think the other two groups that have been at the bottom definitely voted tactically to make sure they are not at the bottom. My opinion so don’t get mad peace!

watching this after reading the comments about it being based on a movie of a serial killer who collects scent from his victims makes this performance a whole lot deeper and you really start noticing the details and suddenly it all makes sense and the picture becomes grander than it already. i personally loved details put in the props specially the cloth to allude to scents and maybe at the same time blood/life and how it was incorporated in the performance I wasn't just there it was moving along with them, the choreography from beginning to the end, the solo was just 🤌 and how the music just builds and melds with it like this was so so good. i literally got goosebumps when they all dropped to the floor at the end it's just sooo macabre in essence but really really subtle. everything was so theatrical it's - truly legendary. and i keep coming back to it.

I'm a fan of all the groups that joined Kingdom but I swear, they don't deserve to place last

The fact that Now or Never never won a stage during a promotions is a crime. Hopefully this will bring newer fans into the fold and the song will start trending again. If Brave Girls can do it, we can too!

i LOVE the fact that they based it on the perfume movie!! such an amazing performance, took my breath away

No hates to other groups cause I'm also multi stan but still want to say mnet sucks a lot, like it been quite a lot after kingdom and I still thinks that SF9 is the one group whose journey was incredibly amazing they amazed the fans with their every single group performance, also we all know because of popularity thing ( obviously MNET ) they got 6th place in final ending of the show, they made them a soft target for other groups, when I saw some of the other stans reaction it was pretty clear that they imprinted themselves internationally so please give them more attention and respect that they deserve.

I am a deobi, and I support sf9. I hope other deobis out there will also support this group.

I am a Stay and Deobi but I wholeheartedly agree that this performance was the best one this round! I can't believe they got last place in the self-evalution score. They did an incredible job...

SF9 are the best, i think that they have a mature, elegant, sensual, sexy, manly, handsome music so their fans are not too young, that's why they don't have a lot of fan. Yoo Taeyang is such a strong centre. He's one of the best dancers here, his vocal is beautiful, his stage presence always have my mouth hanging, not to mention he's such a stunning man, a whole visual. Stan takent, stan Yoo Taeyang, stan SF9 👏

So I'm a multistan, having watched Kingdom for Ateez. I'll tell you what. I added Fantasy to my fandom list cuz SF9 was great. I'd seen them at KCON, but I paid them no attention. I apologize from the bottom of my heart. Fantasy fighting!

People make your idols realise they don't need any awards,rank,etc to stand out ,become big or whatever. They are all already amazing. They have raised their standards,worked harder. Let's appreciate them cause all of them are professionals.

Whatever the result, they're truly the kings in the game. While trying to manage their busy schedules, they're doing their best in delivering a stunning performance like this. They mustn't worry about the scores, ranks or whatever. What matters is they've already achieved what they're brough to do: show the world who SF9 is, the hardworking idols who are booked every time but still put on the best performance.

Obviously, SF9, IKon and BToB were ‘not updated’ about the budget. Nonetheless, story, choreography and performance wise, they did extremely well.

I ended up buying the book because of this performance. It's so pretty.

Im a fan of half of the Participants, im still on the process of stanning SF9, you know the controversial budget issue, SF9 did the less is more, the storyline and concept of this Performance is my favorite (this is one of the storyline that i only understand along with iKON's, all of the others are still on my mind processing).❤️ Edit: im shocked seeing them last for the self eval and judges.

Yes. Look like the seniors group got that issues but all of them really show how talented they are and how beautiful performance you can show even with low budget
