It's probably cause Jimin is not like a cute muscly hyper little kid anymore during their War of Hormones and previous era where he wants their attention and usually loves to be on screen without feeling shy and was more confident and talkative, but instead he got more sexy, quiet, and shy now so they treat him also differently. They for sure loved to tease him back then and showed their love differently but now i dont think they tease him anymore but of course still shows affection and it's mostly by being direct about it.

Jimin isn't vain he's actually insecure, when he calls himself handsome he's actually really joking and does not think highly of himself at all, this was mentioned by V in another video and the guys even say how they are happy to see Jimin gain more confidence compared to the earlier days. I just don't want people getting the wrong idea about Jimin, and one more thing he is the most caring, responsible, and attentive member of the group, he loves the members like his brothers
